I took my family there tonight. I am very critical of restaurants. I was skeptical of this place after reading too many positive reviews, as they are too easy to fake. Bear in mind, we went before the rush and it is a Monday The Greek salad was very good, as was the balsamic dressing. Not too sharp and not too mild. The bread was fresh. The lamb gyro was a bit too salty My pork skewered dish was very good. Juicy and tender. My wife thought her chicken may have been a little undercooked, so she didnt eat most of it and her stomach was bothering her afterward. Chicken dishes are often a major cause of distress and illness at most restaurants due to poor or careless handling of the meat or the utensils used to cook/prepare it, allowing raw juices to mix with cooked food.. Service was excellent. Courteous and attentive without being annoying. Brought an ice tea refill WITH a lemon. Didnt have to ask for either, which is very common at most restaurants And something that is important to me was cleanliness. No complaints. The menus were visibly clean as was the silver, though the waitress did place the menu on my bread plate which did have a little dirt or something on it. The bathrooms were clean, though no paper towels or anything to open the door after washing up. The kids meal was okay, but the typical fried fare, which we always hate to see. They do have a couple of pasta dishes for kids My biggest complaint/suggestion would be get rid of the french fries on so many platters or provide a healthier alternative like boiled or roasted potatoes at least. I dont want to eat french fries with a 14-15 dollar platter. Same with the Greek sauce served with everything. All in all, I would recommend it and would go back if they offered something healthier than fries and cut the prices back a notch. While I understand all food has gotten expensive, its hard to digest going out and spending $60-70 on a meal which, while better quality and fresher, came too close to what youd get at a food court. My pork souvlaki was 13-14 for two skewers of pork(7-8 oz total?). salad, a pita, and the french fries. So I give them four stars for their effort and do expect them to improve

I went to this restaurant the other night. All I can say is that it was the absolute WORST experience I have ever had. The staff were completely incompetent and rude, I should have just got up and left at this point. Once I finally got to order it took forever to get my dinner. After I got my dinner it was lukewarm at best and I said something to the waitress who basically acted as if I were bothering her. The best part is that after all this and I finally began eating I saw what looked like a ROACH crawling out from under one of the tables adjacent to me. I ended up speaking to one of the owners, Mario, who tried to give me every excuse under the sun as to what happened and what I saw. His wife then came over and started basically yelling at me. She was the most rude and inconsiderate person I have EVER met. Stay FAR away from this place, who knows what kind of diseases are roaming around that kitchen and its staff!!!!!

I was there for dinner and I have been to many restaurants that serve greek food. This was by far the worst food Ive eaten. We ordered the gyro sandwich which came with fries. The fries were the ones that you buy frozen in the grocery store and were fried and refried; they were covered in so much grease, I did not even touch them. The gyro meat had a weird taste, which stayed with me even after dinner. Bottled water was on the menu, but they didnt have it, so we ended up drinking tap water from the glass. When I asked the waitress about the anchovies, she said they were the ones that come in the can. If I wanted to eat canned food, I dont have to come to a restaurant and pay double the price. The waitress was very polite and checked in several times but that was the only positive thing about this establishment. I would not recommend this place to anyone who wants authentic greek food.

I go to this restaurant for 3 years with my family. My son Dimitri loves their pizza. My wife loves their fresh seafood. I love their buffalo wings and fries. I have to say that this is the best wings and fries I ever had. I had my wifes 40th B-day party in their private room. Service and food was excellent. Very cozy atmosphere. I travel from the state of Delaware to go eat their food. I am Greek and this feels close to home. One suggestion I have to make to Mario please change the year on the Olympics date.

The Greco-Roman diner is the best kept secret in the PA and DE area...The food is outstanding and authentically Greek! Everything we have eaten there has been excellent! We especially enjoy the seafood. The fish is always fresh and the side dishes are generous and equally delicious! The service is always friendly and courteous. My family and I have made the Greco-Roman diner our new weekend tradition. Thank you for your excellent service!

My wife and I frequent the Greco-Roman because we love the food and the owners are very accommodating and gracious. If you want rice or veggies instead of french fries just ask. This place has the best octopus in town, and ive had octopus in numerous Philadelphia restaurants- comparable to what ive had in Greece. I also enjoy the cheese steaks and greek veg dishes. They also do hearty Italian-type dishes. Check it out!

Amazing food and service!!!! Huge dishes and fresh food. You can have the authentic Greek food (I am not Greek but have friends that go there and confirmed it), and classic Italian dishes. They make excellent grilled octopus (my favorite), and the pizza is great too. We go regularly with our family and we feel like at home. It is a BYOB, so bring a good wine to make it perfect!!! Highly recommended.

Ive been there for dinner and for a banquet. The dinner was excellent. I went on a weeknight so there werent too many customers and the staff was very attentive. The food portions were huge. You could definitely share an entree and its a byob. For the banquet, the staff was attentive but the food was only okay. Definitely worth going for dinner but I dont recommend for the banquet.

This is one of the best kept secrets in the area. Food is always exceptional and the service and can not be topped. Everyone is happy to do what ever will make your meal more pleasant and enjoyable. My kids and our grand kids love going to Greco Roman - Have never had a bad meal and they are also a BYOB - hard to top the service or the food.

Their pizza is excellent. I like the fresh fish of the day. I travel from Delaware for their food. Very reasonable prices, big portions. Service was very attentive. Did not have to ask for a refill on the soda. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

My family loves this place. The food is always fresh. You have to try their calamari and the octopus, the best ones I have ever tried. The atmosphere is very friendly and you really feel like you are a part of a one big family.
