I love the food here. Always bring friends and brag about it. A few Saturdays ago, brought friends from down the shore. We were first reservations. The hostess let us know they were short of staff, we were ok with that. We were thinking on cocktails, since my friends hadnt been there before, about 10 minutes perhaps 15 minutes deciding, the hostess came over and told us they needed the table by 730! I couldnt believe my ears! I have run restaurants in NY and Las Vegas with prices less than these and would never say that to a customer. This wasnt a holiday with sessions, regular Saturday night. First time I was ever embarrassed to be there. Food was excellent but that put a damper on the evening for sure.

I went there for Valentines Day dinner. People have the saying that on Valentines Day "get ready for cold food and warm drinks". Meaning that on this day you a cow through a cattle shoot. Not so at the Carversville! The food was excellent, the service was excellent! It reminded me of a class act city dinner in the middle of the country. Meaning the flavors, preparation and presentation was way above competitor restaurants in the area.

Filet Mignon much better than Hanger steak even tho evenly priced. Best beets ever, comes on side of steaks. Mushroom appetizer something youd find at Bennigans; whereas the escargot had a nice sauce but didnt need the break triscuits. Potatoes au gratin not very good. Waiters sharp, wearing black bowties. make a reservation if after 6:30pm on a weekend. Prices a bit expensive if you ask me.

If you are looking for a memorable Bucks County experience, this is the place to visit. The atmosphere was warm and charming. The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was fantastic. This is one of Bucks County’s best-kept secrets. I’m looking forward to visiting the restaurant again soon.

My husband and I went to Carversville Inn for brunch on Sunday, May 22. The servers were wonderful and the food could not have been better. The eggs benedict were made in a creative way with fruit and a scone on the side. We will be back.

the good news and the bad news are the same: nothing ever changes at this homey charmer on the carversville "square". its not that its bad, just a little too predictable for steady patronage.

Nicest lunch in quite a while! Food was cooked to perfection, fresh and delicious. Dessert made in house was fabulous! Staff was personable and accommodating.

Excellent historic country inn with an extensive menu (the smoked salmon app is tasty and abundant), a good bar and the friendliest of service.
