Walked in to get a few drinks with friends. The "bartender" was sitting at the bar with who I assumed was the owner. No big deal, I thought. All three of us were immediately carded. One of my friends asked for a specific IPA, to which the "bartender" replied that "he couldnt get any more drinks after that one because that beer is kind of strong." My other friend asked for a vodka and cranberry and the bartender didnt even want to give it to him! They hesitated and finally said "well I guess you can have a vodka and cranberry." I asked for a good summer recommendation and the bartender gave me a beer that I didnt find refreshing at all. Their jerky is good but severely overpriced now. The dogs are cute and about the only positive thing about the place, but just beware that they are there in case you are allergic. Definitely wouldnt go back. I paid $5 cash for a single beer.

The Jive is awesome! It is always a good time there and they have a wonderful selection of microbrews. Kay is very nice and Denny is a great cook. I always have a great time when I go there. Make sure you pick up some jerky, its the best Ive had.
