The ambience of this place is so cool. They use part of Lancaster Seminary which looks like it was the old chapel at some point. During our dinner they had a student or someone playing the piano very well. The food is very good. It is rustic, flavorful, and interesting. I left here feeling full and satisfied, but not the sort of full you have when you leave other restaurants. I felt full in a healthy, warm, wow that was amazing way. The food itself is healthy and you leave feeling satisfied but without going into a food coma or regretting how much you ate. Cant wait to come back and try their lunch hour.

This place tries to be upscale like a beat up old car with fancy hubcaps and a new air freshener. The building itself has infinite character, but thats where the charm ends. The white table cloths were clean, and the chili was excellent, but the service was lackluster, the chef was arrogant and lacking the talent to back it up. The owner/manager/proprietor (whatever she was) was disrespectful, when making a simple inquiry about the source of the food. 5 star prices with truck stop attitude. (*The waitress was pleasant, and that is the best thing I can report.)

Five star in every way. Stuffed pork superb as was the shrimp and scallops! Service excellent and staff very personable. I pass this place several times a week and never knew it was there. Next week, its lunch at the 5 star Gypsy Kitchen!
