Id recently started looking for a replacement to Aangan which I used to love and frequent weekly, but hadnt had local Indian food in several weeks (such a shame, I know). My girlfriend looked this place up and we gave it a go and Im very glad that we did. The food is fantastic in a consistent way and the service was great as well. Ive only been here a few times so far, and am a creature of habit at some places, but the Lamb Vindaloo (ordered as spicy) is always fantastic. The "spicy" is spicier than a typical Indian place, which is GREAT for me. Bring on the heat. It isnt too spicy that it overwhelms your senses and you cant taste anything as its a great blend of heat and taste. Many will probably want to start off with "medium" before leveling up. The paneer pakora as well, crispy outer, fluffy tofu inner. The ambience inside is inviting, too. A warm orange tone with the tables far enough apart where you dont feel cramped. Thank you for existing! I wish this restaurant was a bit closer to home as its always a 20-minute drive, but then again, I would probably gain a lot more weight from eating out every night. Most of the other Indian places Ive been to either have inconsistent food or service, but so far, this place has really hit the spot.

My family and I went here because it was convenient and the Google reviews were quite good. What we received was a lot worse than expected. The service was ok and the waitress seemed like she didnt even want to be there. The atmosphere was the worst part. If I walked in there without knowing what it was I might have mistaken it for a zoo. Kids were running this way and that and someone even attempted to steal one of our chairs. The food however was a below average. I had a Sweet Lassi and it was the only good thing about the place. The lamb in the Lamb Xacuti was chewy, hard and not good. The chicken in the Chicken Saag was dry. The eggplant dish was decent but I almost mistook the rotti for naan. Overall it wasnt a great experience and we definitely wont come back.

Food was OK Ok but customer service was terrible...we liked Dal Tadka and try to re-order it but was told no second order allowed...we were awe struck as we were not told this while we were ordering. Another bad thing is the way we were told...and the facial expression the waiter made...we were felt very unwelcome. We understand that it was houseful at that time but it doesnt give them a right to disrespect their guests. They need to manage their guests in a better way. I wanted to give negative points/star but i guess i have to settle it with 1 star. Definitely not going back again.

Ive been twice. Once for a fancy dinner date. Our water glasses were never less than half full. Best meal wed ever had. Perfect amount of heat in each of our meals. I loved the vegetarian options and my carnivore boyfriend loved the chicken dish he ordered. The second time was for the lunch buffet. Again, incredible service by all of the staff and incredible food. Good variety for veggies and meat. They brought us the freshest naan Ive ever had. Best lunch weve had in a long time. I highly recommend this place for a nice dinner date or a quick lunch.

We were here for a family dinner tonight and we made a second order when the staff rudely said you should have thought in advance while making the order before and started throwing plates near our table. Food was good but customer service was horrible. If you are not able to accomodate customers on holidays you should have mentioned on the entry. It spoilt our mood and the taste of the food.

My Husband and I went on 6.3.2016 for dinner and we had a great experience. The waiters were very attentive to filling our beverages, and seeing if we needed anything. Ive never had Indian food before, but I knew I would like it - the food was delicious! They have a large menu. I also saw another table bring wine, so its BYOB/W . We will definitely be returning!

One of the best in the region. Its tucked away on the south side of the Hershey neighborhoods, but if you venture to find this hideaway youll be delighted by the excellent food made with very traditional preparation. They have one of the best biryanis Ive had in the region, with strong flavors and aromas true to the dishs south Indian roots.

Dont know about buffet but my dinner was spoiled... asked for chicken biryani and end up eating mutton biryani... ordered for chicken pakoda and GOD knows what I got on my table.. only the good thing was they accepted their mistakes and refunded charges for both items. Over all, Should have picked up some other restaurants that evening.

Describe your experience...What experience? The naan and the white rice were the only tasty elements of our dinner. The rest is awful. The chicken was dry. The lamb was hard and chewy. The eggplant dish overly creamy. Please dont waste your money. Not to mention that they add 18% gratuity to the bill. What a joke?

Had come to Hersheys and saw this new restaurant. The service was extremely slow and the owners said they were still learning. The food tasted great when it finally came. My parents liked the food so much they wanted to come back another time. Out of the things we tried, Malawi kofta and Chile were the yummiest.

This restaurant is a diamond in the rough. You look on the outside and you hesitate, but you go in and realize you have entered an authentic India Cuisine Restaurant. Excellent service. Food was Fantastic. Brought back memories of when we ate with our friends from India that live in Syracuse N.Y.

Was recommended by a friend. The location is out of the way but easy to find. The decor is quite and pleasant. They appear to do a brisk take out business and the service is top notch. The meal we had was delicious and had the right amount of spice. Dont be afraid to ask for help with the menu.

Very happy to have this only Indian resturant in a place like Hershey. Amazing food, very fresh, delicious and nicely served. The staff is amazing. We went late and yet the staff was kind enough let us sit and eat without any hesitation. I highly recommend this for great Indian taste.

AWFUL resturant and discounting food. Dont go to this resturant and if you decided to go to this place, check out the staff at the kitchen and I am pretty sure you will not let yourself to eat at this resturant. This was the worst experience ever and we will never ever come back.
