The Grille was always a good hang-out with above average food and atmosphere. Over the past few years, it has gone from good to OUTSTANDING. The dining facilities have been upgraded and are quite pleasant while remaining casual. I have yet to find any menu item that I didnt thoroughly enjoy. The service and staff are delightful and very attentive. The lunch specials exceed expectations and the dinners are to die for... But, what is even more impressive is the owner. He will be seen buzzing around ensuring the slightest details are addressed -- to the point that when his staff is busy, he will take care of whatever needs to be addressed personally. Move a chair, bus and set a table, welcome and seat new arrivals, and any other imaginable detail that makes the entire experience exemplary. Outstanding job to all...

I went in on a Saturday at around 3:00 pm. No one was at the hostess counter to greet me. I went to the bar area and stood until the bartender finally finished her conversation with a customer. Once I was acknowledged, the bartender said she would seat me if their was a clean table. I went to the other side to wait for a table. Every table was filthy. The bartender was also the server and bus boy for the entire restaraunt. I wonder if he was also the cook. I dont recommend going before dinner begins on a Saturday if this is customary. I have been for dinner during the week and it was the complete opposite. I must admit, once the server got to us he was very nice and attentive.

Looks like a "hole in the wall" kind of place. Overall food is good with some hits and a very few misses - but others might love my misses. Service is great, beer and wine are cheap with a rotating tap list. Chef likes to be experimental and specials are always interesting. He likes his spices, so if you like bland food, be sure to say so. I live nearby and eat here regularly. Everything from burgers to haute cuisine. Wings are good. I usually try a special.

Ordered their special shrimp stir fry. It was ridiculously spicy. The lady told us the chief eats this at home all the time..... Sent it back. They did not comp the meal as they should. They made us pay half for something most people could not eat. On a side note, its not stir fry, its a thai curry. The waitress was not attentive and the place was not busy Better off to go to black and bleu. Better food and service

This place was interesting! The waitress Mary told us the building was a firehouse back in the day and had a lot of history. The food was amazing we had crown scallops with crab meat delicious that was a starter our main meal was lobster macaroni! Amazing and delicious I couldnt eat it all but it was good! I would stop in again for sure!

What a great find. My wife and I stayed overnight in the area on our way south and stumbled upon the center street grill mainly because of other reviews on this site. Our dinner was fabulous - delicious and large portions - and the waitress, Mary was excellent as well. I highly recommend this restaurant for both food and atmosphere.

Wow! Dont be deceived by the outside. The food (and the service) was spectacular! The crab cakes? Delish. Servings are very big...so be prepared to take home half of your dinner (or spilt a dish). My husband said it was the best meal weve had out in a long time.

Had Crab Cake & Shrimp last evening at a Private (Christmas Party) ......this by far is the best Crab Cake in the Area....the portion was larger than most resturants and done to perfection.....my complements to the Chef :)

This place rocks - the busy/fun local crowd after work - the DeLiCiOuS food. Hubby and I loved every bite as well as the conversations with others when sitting around the bar enjoying dinner on a Thursday evening.

Food was delicious and inexpensive, hearty portions with inventive flavors (a bit of a Korean-Pub fusion). There were a couple of errors but our waitress was quick to correct the errors without any fuss.

Great local place with an up-to-date inventive menu. Its a go-to for us - especially for the AYCE crab legs. Better, with more character than a chain. Highly recommended.

The menu is amazing on its own, but then there are also weekly specials on the weekend that make fantastic use if seasonal items. This is truly a hidden gem.

Good food and fabulous specials. Just dont eat anything fried if you have a seafood allergy, like most places they dont use separate friers for their fish.
