We visited late on a Sunday. Im always a little nervous visiting eating places late because theres a good chance that servers are anxious to leave for home, theyre mopping the floor with Pinesol (no fun having dinner while the smell of Pinesol is wafting into your nostrils), etc. However, Pomodoros had several diners, some finishing but others arriving or just seated. The service was prompt and courteous. The recommendations were on-the-dot! Also, this is a BYO, so our wine bottle was quickly whisked away, opened and it reappeared with two clean glasses. The salad had fresh ingredients, the lettuce was crisp, the pizza and the other food was delicious. We also ordered some dessert. The gelati is imported from Italy -- while tasty, it felt like it had been sitting in the freezer for a while. I was still ok with it because ice-cream and gelati are my absolute favorite desserts. The other dessert was baked on the premises and was excellent. Loved the place and will definitely visit again. This place is close to our other favorite in the neighborhood: Victory Brewing. So, you would think that the two compete with each other. But no...they are opposites in many respects. Victory is big and loud. Victory serves beer and other alcoholic drinks. This place is small and quiet and its a BYO. So we will adopt both as our favorites, but well pick based on the mood!

My wife and I are looking at moving into the Downingtown area. I believe this is a fairly new restaurant, and we decided to check it out while looking for homes. We had a good Italian meal. The place is very clean, and the service was excellent. The only thing I found odd about this place, is it appeared to be an older crowd. Im not sure if that was just a coincidence or not. The food was very good, not amazing, but very good. We would definitely come back here for an affordable Italian meal.

Had dinner at restaurant last night for my Birthday with family. First time there.The service was outstanding! And the food well lets say it was hot and delicious. The portions were great. I had the veal parm. So good! Owners friendly and happy to see you. Nice atmosphere. Found our new place to eat Italian food!!

I ordered a chicken piccata really good. My hubby had a chicken Stromboli, his only complain was the sauce on a plate not inside but it is made from scratch. Pizza was very good too my daughter had a slice and my son ordered the fettuccine Alfredo and it was excellent. Will be back, good service.

Telephone order was like pulling teeth. Got there cashier acted like i was bothering her. Horrible pizza and fries. Pizza no flavor and burnt, nothing special, completely standard cardboard pizza. Fries freezer burned, your average school lunch fries. Zero reason to go back

Very nice food, comfortable atmosphere. Byob, which really helps keep the price down. Staff is extraordinarily friendly, which is a major plus, and it doesnt feel like they tried to rush us out when we were done. The portions are very nicely sized, expect leftovers.

My sister and I went to Pomodoro for the first time last evening. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, the atmosphere was quiet. We brought our own wine which was opened immediately, I am generally not a fan of BYOB however, we will definitely return.

My buddy and I got a chance to go there have wings and pizza. It was good. Best part was that we could take a growler fill it up at Victory brewing co then drive across the street to enjoy some good food and good beer

Took my wife and our family out for her birthday celebration. Tony and his staff could not have done any thing else to make it a wonderful evening. Our new favorite place. 9 adults and 2 grandchildren all loved it.

Delicious, delicious!!! Anthonys Italian restaurant in Malvern, PA, sister restaurant. Portions are perfect. I highly recommend the crab al granchio. When ordering ask for the homemade angle hair pasta.
