We have eaten at Dukes numerous times and the food has always been very good, the portions are large, and the price is great - very affordable. The appetizers are wonderful - the Chippers are incredible, the salads are very good, and all of the entrees we have tried were really good. We have had pasta several ways and it was always delcious. The burgers are good, I must admit I was not thrilled with the Italian sub. The prime rib special on Saturdays is wonderful - a big portion of prime rib, salad, veggies, potato - all at a very, very reasonable price. Dukes gets crowded on the weekends - as many places do - and there can be a wait - but so what - it is never unreasonable and the food is worth the wait (we always make reservations on the wknd no matter where we are going). Some people complain about waiting and the staff being less than cordial - personally, I have never experienced that at Dukes and I think that one must take into account the big picture - you dont know what is going on in the back or how the last patron treated them - and also, surely karma plays a roll - be nice and you will get treated nice back. We like Dukes and will continue to patronize them.

Great food..salads especially. small staff = a little on the slow side so allow youre self some extra time when eating there during lunch
