went here to have dinner around 8:30 pm there were two other tables with couples at and 2 people at the counter eating, we looked at the confusing menu then decided to get the fried chicken dinner, the waitress seemed very unhappy and not pleasent at all , she took our order never asked to refill our drinks even though she had nothing else to do , she never smiled or said anything nice at all. when a customer asked about there buy a mug special she said read the sign it explains it better then i could, the only other waitiress shouted i am leaving i need to pick up my son the food well the chicken was decent not bad, but the onion rings were burnt and way too crispy to eat the french fries were soggy and cold, i asked for a banana shake that was on the menu and was told they had no ice cream. this meal was about $15 with a soda way over priced for medicore food the biggest complaint was the service slow, and not pleasent at all there are alot of other places within walking distance of this so called diner i would suggest anyone chose another place to eat

Went for breakfast with my wife. Maybe 3 or 4 other tables were occupied and we were brought to a table right away, however, as soon as I sat down I felt salt all over my seat so I know it wasnt wiped down. We looked at the confusing menu for maybe 2 minutes when the waitress, incapable of smiling, asked if we were ready to order. We said, "Not yet" with obvious puzzled looks on our faces (There were no breakfast items in the menu she gave us). The waitress went back behind the counter and stared at us for one minute before coming back to ask us again if we were ready. By this time, I felt like she was just trying to rush us out and felt unwelcome. We ordered and got mediocre food for $28. A little pricey. Wont be going there again.

Cook did not wash his hands after leaving the stall! Nope. Walked in to an empty silent room, place reeked of mildew. Floors were dirty and sticky despite the lack of people. Sign on the door apologizes for the lack of ice cream, fine but the sign looked crumpled and dusty so no effort to correct the machine or freezer in some time. The nail in the coffin that made us leave was between drinks and ordering food I used the bathroom. A cook in an apron came out of the stall and looked at me then walked out without washing his hands. DID YOU HEAR ME? COOK DID NOT WASH HIS HANDS! Done. Nope we are leaving.

Take these bad reviews with a grain of salt because this restaurant is stationed right off the highway, so many already-grumpy traveling families come here to eat. WE, however (a group of three having traveled for 10 hours), had a wonderful time here! The service was fast and the servers were beyond sweet. The turkey club is DELICIOUS - crisp bacon, fresh juicy turkey, bread toasted to perfection.. yum!~ Seriously, try it! - and everyone seemed genuinely happy to do what they could to make your experience wonderful. Definitely give this sweet little diner a chance!

After overnighting in Breezewood, we had a delicious fresh-cooked breakfast (fried potatoes with cheese, fried eggs sour cream green onions and salsa today in a lightly patronized restaurant. Good cook here at present and a big improvement over chains. We were very pleased and will return to try other options = note that if you want a very cheap or simple breakfast option bear in mind that the breakfasts here are in the $9 price range. But our choice was definitely worth it also the encouragement of an independent restaurant option.

We just came here, because I liked the way the place looked, but service was horrible. My friend and I ordered waters but received coke. Then the table behind us got a chicken parmesan and it was served with meat sauce. Then the waitress got rude and mentioned that the lady should of looked at the menu, but then denied it to us, when we mentioned we were leaving because of how she and the boss talked to the lady. We are from Ohio and as a waitress I know how to treat my customers and this was not it. DONT GO HERE!

Very expensive for what we got! Upside down pot pie was just 2 split biscuits with a little chicken gravy over it. About 4-5 small chunks of white chicken, a bit of carrot and a few peas = $9.99!!! This was their #3 dinner. My husband got #2, honey fried chicken. Mashed potatoes + gravy, onion rings, 4 small PCs of chicken =$11.99!!! Could have gotten KFC for half that. Service was good, but it was in between lunch and dinner.

Insanely expensive, microwaved food, and slow service. Place only had three active tables and yet the three waitresses were rushing around. Family nearby had to return a mug due to it having lipstick on it. Used to be a Dennys and the menu hasnt completely changed over. Save your money.

Great place to stop and enjoy some great American food. Traveling as a family of 4, service was very fast, food was hot and very tasty. We usually hate stopping at breeswood but we seen this little dinner and had to try it out. We will definitely be back.

I am a Motorcoach Driver from Detroit Michigan and every time I come to Breezwood pa I come here its right across the street from the hotel waitress is very nice and the breakfast lunch or dinner are very good keep up the good work

Gave this place a try for the first time while traveling to MD. Best BLT ever and good iced tea (not sweetened as I prefer). My brother liked his burger too. Good, pleasant service; they werent very busy. I would recommend.

Instant mashed potatoes, burned onion rings, meatloaf so mushy it couldnt hold its shape, store bought pie. Very disappointed with the meal. However the ambiance was nostalgic and the waitress was friendly.
