Holy crap this is some of the best teriyaki I think I have ever had. Im eating a lot of random Teriyaki both in my life and just in this general area. Without digging deep into my memory banks I can probably say that this place is my favorite ever. The chicken was super juicy and not overcooked and dry like 90% of teriyaki chicken. I also had the beef and it was also extremely good and juicy. The rice was exactly as it should be. The veggies I have to admit were kind of just ok. Thankfully I dont go to Teriyaki places for high-quality veggies so it doesnt affect my rating. We also got some gyoza and they were very yummy as well although those I have had better elsewhere but thats really more like splitting hairs than anything. If you are a fan of Teriyaki or even just a discerning customer who only wants high-quality stuff and this is the place for you. I should warn people know that there is zero parking for this place in the immediate area you have to go a block down the road and park in the Tualatin public parking lot otherwise you will be parking in the parking lots of businesses that get very angry very quickly and tow cars. This teriyaki place even has signs saying do not park at the surrounding businesses Lots. Just something I think people should know reading this review. To boot the place is ran buy a very cute older Japanese couple who really couldnt be any nicer and are the typical restaurant entrepreneurs that people love to support. I highly recommend this place.

My late wife and I started coming to Mashitas here in Tualatin back when they were in the old building. True, parking at the old place was just as much of a challenge as the new place is but for a different reason. Mainly, not a lot of spaces available for the amount of customers they had. The new buildings parking although not as close to the front door really isnt a big deal, there is a city parking lot the next block over. I believe it is some of the best chicken teriyaki I have ever had. I have never had a bad meal here! Prices are great for the amount of food served. The owners are wonderful, friendly and always smiling. For great food at great prices, this is one of my favorite places in the Tualatin/Sherwood area.

Mashita has the best Teriyaki in the Tualatin-Sherwood area. The owners are really nice and remember their customers, and the restaurant is always clean. My favorite is the chicken teriyaki or the teriyaki chicken and beef combo. Take note: parking is awkward, especially because of the construction. You may need to park in a near-by lot or on a side street. Mashita can get really busy around dinner time on Fridays and Saturdays with people ordering take-out meals and dining in the restaurant. Mashita is closed on Sundays, as well.

This is by far the best teriyaki around. Let me first start with the portion sizes, there is enough on one plate to feed two people pretty comfortably or for one person to have left-overs. The prices is unbeatable! They have an amazing lunch special that includes teriyaki chicken, pot stickers or egg roll and a small drink for $5.50! Even without the lunch special the prices are reasonable. The taste and quality of the food is really amazing. The only downfall is that they are not open on Sundays. I would highly recommend.

Great food at a great value. They dole out good sized portions for take out and in house. It gets packed at lunchtime though. Why? Because their lunch special is a smoking deal and the food is delicious. Theres a huge parking lot at Haggens. Park there and walk across the street. Its not hard, but lazy people always complain about the lack of close parking. I didnt know across the street suddenly was suddenly far away. Idiots. This place rules. Im going there now.

I come once or twice a week and order the Tofu Plate. I practically live off of it. They give out huge portions for low prices. The teriyaki sauce is amazing!!! The couple who own it and kind and always remember my name. There are always many families of all shapes and sizes eating there. They have a TV and it was a Pokemon hot-spot in the summer. It is closed of Sundays (good for them!) and Im always excited to get it again on Monday.

Had the hot and spicy chicken. Its spicy for more people (wasnt so much for me, but Ive built up a resistance to spicy foods), and is very good. I think they could get away with charging more for fountain drinks so theres not a 50¢ charge for refills. The manager did come out to tell me that the food would take a little bit longer than normal. Otherwise very good service. I can see why this is something of an Tualatin favorite.

Wow, delicious food. I took my youngest son here during lunch rush, and it was busy, all tables were full and a long line to order. I chose to stay thinking this is a good indicator of how good the food is, I was right. The line moves fast and table turn over is quick. The food is made to order, yet the wait time is minimal. Definitely suggest checking them out.

Ive been eating at Mashitas for the last 6 years. The owners are awesome, the food is absolutely the best around--not to mention the value! The chicken teriyaki meal for $5 can feed my girlfriend and I. I eat here more than once a week, be sure to go between 11am-2pm to get their lunch special! Value, value, value!!

Nice mom and pop place. We knew it would be delicious because it was packed with people. They had great customer service though and gave us our food pretty quickly. The teriyaki chicken had an awesome smoky flavor, it didnt even need the sauce. The rib eye teriyaki was equally delicious. Also the portions are huge!

The owners always remember us when we go in and remember our favorite orders and how we like it. The chicken is FANTASTIC. It had the. Eat BBQ flavor... that incredible flavor of char, but still so tender. The tofu is really amazing too. Great potstickers. They do a ton of to-go, and the restaurant is always busy.

The atmosphere is great and this is also a gym location. The food is mostly great but I wasnt fond of there egg rolls. Mine came out soggy and it wasnt great at all. The rice and chicken is really good but occasionally a little over cooked. The price is good and so is the food, but you get what you pay for.

Excellent food. Even better prices. The owners, Sonny and Charles, are wonderful. I have been a regular for the last 15 years. I rate restaurants using the "Three C Index": 0-9 for cost; 0-9 for quality; 0-9 for quantity. Mashita Teriyaki rates 7, 7, 7 with a total of 21. That is a very good index.

The couple that own this place are so sweet! The wife usually takes my order and she always remembers me, even if I havent been by in a year! My favorite place to eat teriyaki. They have ruined me for virtually all other teriyaki joints because theirs is so delicious, affordable, and filling!

Wonderfully friendly owner lights up every time a customer walks in. Eaten here more times than I can remember and every visit left me full of some of the citys best teriyaki and glad I stopped by. Few competitors can rival the combination of food, price and service this place offers.
