The food was great until about 2/3 of the way through my meal I found extra protein in the form of a 8 inch long black hair in my food. I have short brown hair, but the cook had long black hair and no hair net. I told the waitress that Id love to finish my food, but since I found the hair I couldnt continue to finish that food. She took the dish with the hair on it without saying a word. She didnt come back to apologize, offer the meal for free, offer to make me another meal, or anything. So what started as a "boy this is good, well have to come back here often" turned into a "if this is their health standards and their customer service when they mess up, I guess there are plenty of other Thai restaurants in the area that would love my money". Its unfortunate, because I really liked the atmosphere and food at the beginning. So try it if you like, but dont be surprised if you get more than you ordered or less service than you expect.

This is literally the best Thai food I have had in the entire West Coast of the USA. I have taken about 35 different people to this place and THEY love it. My parents came to visit, so we went there. I wasnt sure if they would like it or not, since they are super picky. They said "This is the best food weve ever had, not just the best Thai food". Anyone that doesnt rate this place well, you have to question their stories. My friend always gets the Crab Fried Rice. He ordered it twice from this place, both times with little pieces of crab shell. The second time, he brought it up to the manager. Next time we went in, the manager recognized my friend and said he switched suppliers so the crab wouldnt have shells. Thats how much they are concerned about customers satisfaction. This kind of service is extremely rare to find.

The food was okay, the Chicken Pad-Thai had a fishy taste, and the egg rolls that are $5.50 tasted and looked like egg rolls you buy from Safeway and not worth the price, overall this place was okay, I do not need to eat with them again, and thus far Thai Noon is the best Thai food place. This place was ok and saying it was ok is being nice!!! So I am giving it 2 stars because I am hungry and I did eat some of it and it is edible, but the stars is not because it is good, I would have given it 1 star but like I said I did eat some of the food!!

New ownership as of FEB. 1ST Im told, I couldnt be more impressed with everything. Also the bad music is gone now too! Other thai places have tiny iced teas as well, this thing has to be a pint and is VERY flavorful. Beef pad thai is also a hard one for most thai kitchens to perfect, Ive had only a couple do well, and this place MASTERED. My hats-off on every level sincerely, I encourage you to try it, but if you dont youll just make it easier for ME to get dinner.. picture taken when couldnt eat another bite.

At some point Thai Lahnnas food started becoming mediocre, and thats when I discovered Our Thai. Very clean, but uninteresting to look at, this restaurant is usually pretty empty. The decor is very modest: tile floors, fake flowers, and loungy piano music (who doesnt think Candle in the Wind on the piano whilst eating Thai?). While youll never have to wait for a seat, the small staff does mean that food is cooked in the order received, and you may have a slight wait. But weve never been disappointed in a dish yet.

Personally, this place is great.. Having an hour to grab some lunch this place has pretty good pricing and very good portion sizes. The food is pretty good, I have had their pad Thai and very pleased with it. I come near lunch and they are always fast when they bring the food out. Its a nice atmosphere, niche decorations and the music and cool, basic top 40. They seem to be really nice, not pushy and very personable. Its worth stopping if you are looking for a good experience and meal.

Delicious food and very friendly staff and owners make this a regular go-to for our family. The inside is quirky yet comfortable for when you decide takeout isnt your desire. They have beer and wine, a large projection TV, and comic-themed posters and decorations which are a couple things that differentiate them from other Thai spots. To top it off they have a rewards program which means frequent discounted and/or free meals without having to spend a ton of money to reach those rewards.

I have been coming here for years even after they have changed with new management . The food is excellent and the decor is eclectic. The prices are reasonable and the dishes you receive are very proportion, you will have to get a dogie bag There is quite a bit of Thai sea food fare on the menu and everything is great. They also have take out , but if you want to enjoy the food, sit down and let them serve you the great food in the restaurant

After having a wreckless driver T-bone my car as I was about to leave with my to-go order from TS, the employees came out to the car to make sure everyone was okay. They offered me tea and made sure I was well looked after as I waited and refused to accept any money I tried to offer as a thank you. That kind of service is so rare; this place was always my to-go spot for Thai food in Portland, and this has only reinforced that sentiment.

First time I ate here it was delicious. That was 2 years ago. Ate there twice after that and hated it. The second time I ate here it was extremely soggy. I thought it was a fluke, so ordered one final time from there. It was soggy including the shrimp, it tasted like they had varias left overs and recooked them all together, hopefully not other peoples left overs. Yuck. Not sure what changed two years ago. I would guess ownership.

Somtam, papaya salad, the cheapest street and most common food of all in Thailand was 12 bucks! Wasnt made with fresh Thai peppers, but with pepper flakes. Its not that you cannot buy the ingredients from the Asian stores here in Portland, but why so expensive??? The taste, not bad but not great, either. The appetizer platter was very localized, without the shrimp moon cakes and all. The staff was very friendly enough to revisit.

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in the Portland area. Its a hidden treasure. Im hesitant to write a good review about it because I dont want it to become TOO popular. But, the truth is the owner is very friendly and constantly striving for perfection, the quality of the food is second to none, and you will find items on their menu that you wont find in most Thai restaurants. Without a doubt, they deserve all five stars.

Fabulous food, always changing layout If youve been to Thai Square last month you still havent seen Thai Square. They are always making improvements to the decor. I havent tried all the Thai food in Portland, but I have no experiences that would contradict those reviewers who claim its the best. In my experience the owner and staff are always friendly, hospitable, and engaged. I cant recommend this place too much.
