The service here is horrible. When we walked in after a little league game, we were told that we had to go outside "because all teams have to use the outside window". We were already first in line at the ordering line (and it was close to 90 degrees and muggy). We did not understand why we had to go outside. So, we all filed outside and had to wait a bit for somebody come to the outside window. Then, we were asked "what can each team member order?" We said that we were not ordering or paying as a team. Then, we were told "well, I didnt know that." Well, frankly, the person did not ask and made an assumption. We were told that we needed to go back inside and, because of all the shenanigans, we had lost our spot in line. No apology was offered, but we did receive a lot of attitude. My advice? If you like being treated respectfully and professionally, do not go to this Dairy Queen.

Ive lived in the area for about 10 years now and have gone to this Dairy Queen multiple times. There is actually a running joke between me and my mom about how they must have an actual cow inside the restaurant and are milking it on the spot to make the ice cream. This is by far the slowest DQ or any fast food restaurant I have been to in my entire life. If youre in a hurry and want to get something quick I would recommend NOT going to this DQ. I have timed it, and the longest I have ever sat in the drive through was 27 minutes. Also, once you get into line, you are stuck there. There is no way to turn the car around, back up, or get out, so if you have some place to be unless you ask the people in front of you to leave you are going to be stuck there as long as it takes.

As they say, dont believe all you read. The food poisoning post is a disgruntled ex employee. The Dairy Queen has been in Orwell for 30 + years, so it must be doing something right. If you have what you call a "bad" experience, why not call & get it resolved. Also, its fan food, not fast food. The drive thru is a convenience not a way to get through quicker. Its hard to be "fast" when you have orders of many different items, such as blizzards, that need made per order. There is no way to speed up many of the menu items. But call ins are welcomed, so maybe thats the option you should choose if youre in a hurry. And if you see a line at drive thru, opt to come in. Just some suggestions. I love my store & my employees!

Dairy Queen has become so darn expensive and the waits here are ridiculous. I tried to order a peanut butter crunch blizzard which has peanut butter, cake crunch, and ice cream. They told me "we dont do that." Wondering what part of that they dont do...
