Ive been to so many Chinese buffets all around Ohio that Ive lost count. Going to them is almost always about cost/quality, with the point being that they have a lot of selection and you get to knock out all of your lingering cravings for various salty/sweet/fried foods for not a lot of money. So if its at least mediocre and offers a lot of selection usually its done its job even though its usually not the best quality. Im fine with that, its what I expect. This buffet, though, even for the mere $9 that dinner costs, doesnt really give you a lot for that money. I have to admit, I was VERY disappointed with the selection. This is the first Chinese buffet Ive ever been to that didnt have General Tsos chicken, fried rice, pork dumplings, or pork spare ribs. The sushi selection was the poorest Ive ever seen at any Chinese buffet, lacking even the basic California roll. The only seafood they have at all is two prepared shrimp dishes. In general, the selection here is VERY VERY lacking. Their small buffet tables were missing probably 1/3+ of the staples Im so used to seeing at every single Chinese buffet I go to. In terms of the actual quality of the limited foods that were there, again, Im usually expecting that each buffets food is going to be mostly mediocre, with one or two standout dishes that the chefs do well compared to others. Here, the standout dishes were the coconut shrimp and the wonton soup. Those were both very good. The chicken broccoli and sesame chicken were also decent, on the upper end of average for what Id expect from the buffet, and although they werent the best, they did have fried scallops, which not every buffet does have, and which Ill eat whether theyre good or not. The quality of everything else on the entire buffet, though, was really significantly below average. Teriyaki chicken wasnt very good, the egg rolls were of the variety where theyre greasy and have almost no filling, the honey chicken was 80% breading, the lo mein tasted excessively sweet, and as a whole even compared to other cheap under-$10 Chinese buffets that Ive been to (Ive been to at least 4,) the quality was mediocre. So as a whole, the price is very low, but for the dismal selection that they have and the generally below-average quality of the food, with only three or four things that I really enjoyed, I still didnt think it was worth it. Even the $7 Chinese buffet in Cleveland had better quality and selection, and compared to the also-$9 Chinese buffet I went to through all of college in the small town of Cambridge, OH, which offers twice as much selection, plus a stir-fry grill, plus fresh seafood, plus a large sushi selection, plus significantly better quality on almost every single dish, this just fell completely flat. I wont be going back, which is a real rarity for me when it comes to Chinese buffets because I usually love them so much.

Had good seating, but the buffet was very small for the size of the building - only 3 small tables, and 1 is desert. I tried all of the chicken, and only found 1 or 2 kinds that I liked, and normally I love chinese buffet chicken. The others had weird tastes to them, and the stick chicken was very dry. As for the rest of the food, the mini-rangoons were pretty good (compared to everything else), but I was disappointed with the egg rolls, lo mein, and the rest of the selection. Soup looked so bland, I didnt even try it. They didnt even have fried rice! Thats almost unforgivable right there. Desert was typical, meaning crap. Im glad Im moving to a different area than here, and hope Toledo has better Chinese buffets than this to offer. Wont be back here, even if I need to come to Oregon and am starving.

Ive been going here for awhile, and its always been me and my family, we have many fond memories there and the food is always great, you can fill up and leave satisfied. You know youve had good food when all you want is more the second you leave and thats always how it is, they offer a variety of different foods and I believe thats very good "customer service" because not everyone likes fish, or not everyone likes sushi, and offering a variety will most likely reel you right in and in the best way. Also there desert is always delicious as is all of there food and I highly recommend stopping there if given the chance.

Me, my husband Brian and my father in law Ron really like this restaurant. It has a really great food selection in the buffet. We have always had a wonderful experience. The waitors and waitresses are so nice. It is a very clean restaurant and buffet. The food is always delicious and fresh. I actually do not like seafood but the last time we were there I actually tried this seafood delight and I really liked it. There is alot to choose from. They have very good dessert. Me and my family will definitely keep going to China One. Thank you China One buffet!

Typical Chinese place. Weve been here a few times. It is best when they r a little busy, food is fresh on the food bar with foot traffic it gets refilled a lot. And they change few of the items from time to time. Which is very nice. I have not order take out before. But I have notice they have a lot people come in for it. So their menu items must be good too.

Very disappointed with their Friday Buffet that you pay extra for to include crab legs. It only takes 4-8 min to steam crab legs. It took almost an hour for them to be cooked. For people to fill up on other food instead of the crab legs. NOT ETHICAL AT ALL!

Sunday lunch usually had the freshest food. Sometimes you have to wait until 1pm to see it. Pizza is really good, but you have to be quick to get it. It doesnt last long and always waiting to make more. Weekdays and other hours cost more and not fresh.

Well the restaurant was very clean and the service was great but some of the meat was cooked too hard and to long. Like the frog legs, the meat skewers and the chicken, the fried mushrooms had no taste. Other than that everything else was fine.

The food was not good at all, the service was decent but the food was absolutely horrible! Not much to choose from , and the restaurant was not very clean. It cost too much for what we got and I will never go back

Allllll you can eat for $6.50! I wasnt expecting the price to be that low and the food was pretty good. Usually, buffets have nasty ice cream, this place had really good ice cream.
