NOTE: PLEASE ALSO READ MY FOLLOW-UP BELOW My father had had an allergic reaction after eating a salad at the New Albany Panera location. (The reaction kicked in minutes after arriving home.) He ended up in the hospital. I live out of state and called New Albany to obtain a list of salad ingredients. I explained that my father was hospitalized and asked for assistance. The manager seemed to be put off because I could not come in and look at the list. She put me on hold. When she returned to the phone, this New Albany manager advised me that she was new and that I should call back the next day to speak with their General Manager. Lets see... hospitalized father and the originating location would not provide assistance. Chad, a manager the Gahanna location assisted me. He took the time to read me the ingredients list even though he was certainly busy. He even faxed me a list, which I was then able to fax my family to give to hospital doctors. If you are able to, I highly recommend visiting the Gahanna location. FOLLOW-UP: I believe in fairness when it comes to reviews and to offer positive feedback when warranted. I was contacted by Alex, General Manager of the New Albany, OH Panera. He profusely apologized for what transpired and said he would use this happening as a training opportunity for staff (not just this manager). This is a sign of a very good General Manager. The apology was greatly appreciated. Alex was genuinely concerned about the welfare of my father and even offered to reach out to my parents directly. This by itself would make him a good General Manager. What makes Alex a very good General Manager was his desire to train staff so that there will not be a repeat episode. Addressing the issue with the one manager would have little impact on restaurant service. Elevating it to the attention of staff and managers provides them with an example of unacceptable behavior and provides them with clear direction for future reference.

"Constantly out of items" seems to be the theme here in these reviews, and yes they Ill second that. Out of the correct bread and didnt tell me until after they had my money. And also, I know placing slices meat on bread is extremely difficult but honestly I expected more from professionals. The part I struggle with the most is placement, actually getting the meat on the bread. Not so here, they just decided to put a piece of salami on and call it a day. I dont know, maybe theyre cutting cost and figured since Im skinny I wouldnt notice my food was missing. 0/5 wasnt an option so theyre getting a 1/5. I hope they dont breed, drive, or handle firearms.

Went to the drive thru here on my break from work. i ordered a full sandwich but the girl at the drive thru window must not have been listening or something because she put it in as half. When I got to the window they charged me for half and I said I had ordered a full sandwich. (Not a big deal, right?) then the manager told the kids working in the kitchen it was a full sandwich and they all yelled "are you kidding me?!" Really loud and just looked at me. Like sorry your order taker took my order wrong and sorry Im giving you guys business. So rude. I wont be going back unfortunately.

The food was par luke warm. The hot water for tea was empty. The guest room busser/server was pushy & rude. She actually ran into a child due to her lack of attention. She swept the dining area around our feet while we were eating, disruptive. Prior visits proved much the same. Food was par and service was lacking. The drive thru has a HUGE pothole at the exit. So be careful. Parking is akward too.

Constantly have issues at this location. On several occasions they are out of ingredients and dont notify you till at the pickup window. Forcing you to make an alternative decision once they have your money. Tonight we ordered two whole sandwiches and got two halfs. Portions are tiny compared to other locations as well. My wife and I have gotten wrong orders the last four visits in a row. Not going back.

This Panera is the worst one I have ever been too. The last 4 times my husband and I have been there, our order has been wrong or something has been forgotten. Cheese has been put on my salads when I clearly order with no cheese due to my dairy-free diet. Items ordered and paid for have been left out of our bags, then we get home and have to go back. Get it right for once Panera!!!

Never would I expect to be disrespected for be a service member however that occurred by a staff member. The two sandwiches my wife and I had ended up with salad size chunks of tomatoes and to get lemonade that was an extra charge. Not an ideal or comfortable panera which we were amazed by.

Breakfast takes way too long. Sat outside the drive through window for I dont know how long. I could see the people behind me getting fustrated. Never again. Three stars because the breakfast sandwiches were pretty good. But not good enough to be late for work for.

Worst run Panera I have ever been to. Constantly out of items, but dont tell you until youve paid so you have to sub or go back through the line. Food quality is awful - my last Fuji apples salad was only chicken, lettuce, tomatoes and dressing.

Overall, food is good. I happened to stop in at a very busy time, took about 10 minutes to get my sandwich. The sandwich looked like it had been thrown together and then smashed as they wrapped it up. It did taste good, though.

Went in this morning for a dozen bagels. Friendly staff and quick to assist everyone in line. Responsive to customers needs. This is my favorite location because of friendly service no matter what time I go in.

This location has a smaller dining room than most Paneras have. Close parking spaces are scarce, but they do have a drive thru, which was surprisingly fast.
