We went for brunch on Sunday morning. Staff seemed annoyed that we didnt have a reservation even though they werent busy at all. The atmosphere was very neat and had a very cool jazz club vibe. There was live piano music as well. However, the menu we got was different than what they have listed on their website. We ordered a breakfast sandwich and two waffles. The food wasnt bad, but the price was not right. The sandwich was $14, for two pieces of toast without butter, two cooked eggs, and a slice of ham. The sandwich was dry with no sauce, and no sides were included even though the menu said all items included toast. The waffle said it was two waffles and had raisins. I only received one large waffle and no raisins. While the waffle was very good, it still wasnt ad the menu described. All in all, the experience was OK, due to very nice atmosphere, but sup par food, way overpriced.

Actually, while the atmosphere and music were fabulous, the food and service were not as high caliber as I was led to believe. All of our dishes had too much salt! I could only down one of the prosciutto wrapped scallops with lobster sauce! And had to return the rest. They gave me another option which never came but the diners sitting next to us were served it and sat in from of them for 10 minutes before the wait staff discovered it was my reorder and tried to put it in front of me! I was horrified! And sent it back. My husbands dinner was equally salty, but he chose to eat his as he thought he could handle it. We were drinking water all night and the next day!!

We had Sunday brunch here, and it was a tad underwhelming. The atomoshpere is incredible, but the food was subpar. The chicken and waffles had no flavor, the quiche was ice cold, the biscuits in the biscuits and gravy were pilsbury grands, the sausage patties were like rubber, and the 7 dollar mimosa tasted like cheap orange juice and even cheaper champagne. Two guests bacon were forgotten, and were then told that they had none left and would have to make more. Im sure its a nice place to go for drinks and live music, but I do not recommend brunch.

I highly recommend the food. I found the smoked chicken and eggplant "opening note" (appetizer) was more delicious than my main entree (smoked salmon crab cakes). The service was entirely professional and friendly without being stuffy/arrogant. The only reason I cant give it five stars is that I kind of did expect a blues club to have some...blues music...? It was a Wednesday nigh, so if 4.5 star option was available, Id even go for that. Ill most definitely return to the Blue Note whenever the opportunity strikes.

Atmosphere is good. Very nice interior. The food is considerably overpriced for the quality and presentation. I had the filet with the au Gratin potatoes. The taste and quality were what Id expect from the buffet at Golden Corral. If you are going simply for the atmosphere, music, and a couple of drinks, this is a nice place. If you are going for dinner, it will leave you wanting, especially when you see the prices...a real shame as this could be a very special place.

Very interesting place. Ensure you go in your Sunday best. Food is very good as well as the drink selection. Constant and very talented musicians on stage throughout evening. Reservations made and was ready upon arrival. Speak easy upstairs is small and could be set up a little different to allow for better group seating but it a very nice place to go up and get a drink and still enjoy music and be able to carry on a conversation at same time.

Outstanding job, guys! he menu, ambiance, and staff are all great. There is one male bartender there with dark hair, that I was not impressed with, as he was very stand-off-ish to me when I inquired about a particular beer, but I cant let that tarnish my review...would love to see the upstairs opened up so you can watch the bands from up there better. Over all, and amazing hang in the burg!

Had a great time eating dinner and then having a drink in the speakeasy upstairs. Wait staff was very helpful with recommendations and food was excellent. They have some bold flavor combinations, those wont disappoint. This is Fine Dining so dress up a little and have a great time. Decor and ambiance is great, prices are very reasonable compared to other fine dining option in the area.

The atmosphere is very inviting and relaxing. The food is excellent and prices are very reasonable for the quality and preparation of food. However, the music was overbearing for the type of restaurant; soft piano music or soft jazz would be great. Any conversation is impossible with guitars and drums which belong in a bar or lounge...not in this restaurant.

My 1st time going, i didnt appreciate being upsized to a large salad i discovered this well after i left. The waitress took no time to ask what size salad me and my Lady wanted. If you visit please make sure your waiter or waitress orders exactly what you want. Music was excellent, the setting was nice.

Love this place. Decorated beautifully. Wait staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The 6 oz filet was one of the best steaks I have ever had. The special dessert for New Years Eve was beautiful and delicious. This is a gem that will be getting more and more popular as people find out about it.

This is a nice place to go out on a date or just somewhere a little nicer than normal. The food is good but for the price I think it needs to step it up a little bit. When youre paying 30$ some for a steak and potato you should get another side and steak toppings for that price.

Absolutely fantastic little place in an old bank. Great premise, fantastic lighting and decor. The old bank vault is the wine Cellar "! Even the former managers office, upstairs, has been turned into a speak easy. If you havent been, go... Youll love it too.

Great experience, the service was very nice and the ambiance in the building was great. There was a jazz band that played soft jazz that wasnt overbearing. The food and the portions were on point. I would highly recommend this place for a nice night out

This is one of the best places to experience in the Dayton area. The food and atmosphere are really exceptional. I was impressed on several different levels. I think I have found my new favorite restaurant.

Great food, great environment and great music! Its like no other restaurant in the area. We came as a couple and left with some new friends! Our typical dining experience is in and out. Not here!
