Will never go up there again. Not even if I am desperately trying to find coffee at 3am. Not worth the money. I ordered a "dirty girl scout" because it sounds interesting. Not only was the coffee burned but the flavor syrup was old and the guy behind the counter had to add hot water to the bottle of syrup. There were all types of kids up there hanging around a TV screen watching a person play video games...... Right in the middle of the walk way to get to the restroom. I had to say excuse me about 10 times. And the kids that were huddled around the TV screen just gave me blank stares. The mens restroom was out of order being used for a mop cubby. And one person said it had been broken for 3 years. So I had to use the ladies bathroom. Once I opened the door you could smell rancid vagina and sweat. Like someone had been having sex in there not to long ago. Tho I dont think anyone would want to put it inside that. There a was huge amount of tampons in the tapon bin. So much so that it was over flowing. And it said "look in here for red velvet cake". There was graffiti all over the walls in the bathroom. Some degradation of women. I walked out of the bathroom felling dirty. I used hand sanitizer for soap because there wasnt any and I didnt want to risk touching the sink. The pin ball machine was out of order. There was a place to play whatever music you wanted. I played a song. Didnt even hear it after 30 mins. And here is some information that will deter anyone who doesnt smoke from entering the premises. After about 12am they guy behind the counter says "smokem if you got em" meaning "were going to break the law because we dont give a f". And after that point I had enough. I called that number you see on anti smoking signs. And reported them. They said they would send someone out in the morning. Well the person I called said he did smell smoke he couldnt do anything. So I went up their agian. And flimed people smoking. So I could turn it over to the proper authoritys.

Let me start off I LOVE LOVE LOVE the environment in this place. 24 hour 365 days a year coffee in the heart of Kamms Corner. I am a resident of West Park and I WANT to patronize this place but I cant. Thing is.. there is a smoking ban in Ohio.. This place could give a darn. walk in there at 8 pm ANY night. your in a cloud of smoke. Reminds you how quickly you really dont miss smoking in public places, and why the libertarian in me gives the smoking ban a blind eye. Absolutely the WORST coffee I have EVER had and there is absolutely NO excuse for it. They have the volume of customers.. Why cant they get good coffee in there. . Totally tastes like the beans were ground a year ago and they stored them in a 5 gallon bucket open to the air. Completely flavorless. Their speciality coffees.. Same thing.. Mocha.. wow.. that is REALLY REALLY BAD.. The place is frequented by tons of late teen early 20 something people who are 98% cool. Of course there is ALWAYS the one attention seeking troll in the back playing D&D who has to ruin the whole time with his incessant posturing about his gaming prowess. Another location filled with the one coffee buying kids that sit there for 5 hours straight and be generally loud. Too bad.. Spike is a really cool kid.. The owner that I saw come in at 5 am that one sunday with the high heels and tats is seriously smoking hot. WOW! I want to patronize this pace but it is too smoky and too wild west for me. The music is AWESOME in the place. I wish I didnt have breathing problems when I get around smokers or could stand the smoke. I would love to drop money into this business but the people that frequent the place ruin it for anyone with money that wants to come in there. I am surprised no one reports the smoking violations. Even spike .. man we see you sneaking into that little room behind the bar and can smell it when you try to sneak your smoke inside.

Really disappointed with this place for several reasons. 1. Cash only, but 0 signs warning you about it. Wasnt told until I was handed my coffee and ready to pay. 2. They have an ATM, and it charges a $3.50 fee. 3. Service was rude. 4. Coffee was flavorless and did not taste better than something that I could brew at home. 5. Cups were made of crappy styrofoam... I get that youre trying to cut costs, but at least put coffee in something that it will taste good out of. Especially if you dont accept cards and I end up spending 8.50 on a coffee. Even Starbucks would have been better and cheaper. 6. Mens bathroom was broken, and apparently has been broken for years. I REALLY wanted to like this place too. :(

Great 24hr coffee/tea/games-place. Includes a couple of multi-arcade machines, three pinball machines, plenty of board games, a vending machine, and sold snacks and easy cooked items. Mind you this is a bit of a, independent taste, type of place that is full of quirks. Not a whole lot of enforcement on customers in terms of loudness, ridiculousness of brought in electronics (wii u and large flatscreen is my personal favorite); a bathroom has been OOO for some time. Weird and welcoming to anyone and quite frankly I wouldnt have it any other way. Personal favorite though, definitely not for anyone who some might consider a bit of a snob.

The coffee is delicious during the day when they get the scrutiny of businessmen and such. The employees are not very kind, though. The cash only rule is also troublesome, and the atm inside will bleed your wallet with its service fee. The atmosphere is nice around midday when its slow, but more often than not theres a homeless person sleeping inside. At night it is a frequent for belligerent drunks and those who do hardcore drugs. Its not to say that EVERYONE is like that. There are people who bring laptops and game systems and its a fun environment when patrons arent screaming or yelling.

The Common Grounds Coffee shop is fantastic! From the friendly and inviting atmosphere to the comedic and not to shy menu, Common Grounds offers a 24 hour atmosphere to work, have fun, and just hang out. As a customer you have full access to the music of the bar, and an assortment of arcade and pinball machines in the back of the shop. The coffee itself is high quality and surprisingly cheap. Overall a 5/5 experience!

This is truly a Cleveland style gem complete with random drunkards passing through and people having sex behind Smedleys at night. All in all a fantastic spot with good coffee and an endearing staff. Its a place for oddballs, misfits, artists, and geeks. If you see an adorable doe-eyed man chewing on a toothpick ask him for recommendations! Hes never let me down. Clevelands best coffee spot hands down.

They always have great tasting blends. Its always fresh. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. There is a TouchTunes jukebox and some arcade games in the back. The only issue is that some evenings, millennials bring TVs from home and they play video games all night. They can get annoying and they take up a lot of space. Its weird.
