Took my grand father who lives in Winston Salem here to Great Wall Sep. 23, 2016 around 3 PM. The lady here is very annoying, unfriendly, and just...weird. We ordered 2 general tsos chicken with white rice and she gave us 2 with fried rice. When I complained and told her please give us white rice, she claimed I didnt tell her white. Then she said I talked too much. I never even said a word to her besides about the food. She said she couldnt redo it, but if something was wrong with the taste she could consider a refund. I just decided to try the fried rice and I asked if they had a manager and she said the manager wasnt there. She told me come back to the store later around 9 oclock . I called later and asked for the manager, and she said there was no manager. I said I was calling about an incident earlier that day about a woman who came with their grandfather and ordered 2 general tsos with white rice, and got 2 with fried rice. She said * oh yeah, the lady talk too much. and she try to get food for free from me*. She didnt even realize i was the woman she was talking about. I said *excuse me i wasnt trying to get anything for free*. Then the lady just hung up. I called back and she said *dont call back or I can call police for harassment.* My grandfather said people in his neighborhood have come here and the lady often says people *talk too much* or they annoyed her but in reality I think its just shes annoying them. Maybe if you could get the orders right, people wouldnt *talk too much*. Really weird lady. The general tsos was OK with fried rice, but I really would have rather had the white rice. Overall probably 2-3 star experience.

Great Wall Chinese Restaurant in Winston Salem... 607 Peters Creek Pkwy.. I regret not reading the reviews before I stopped here. Was going back to Virginia after doing business near Winston Salem and stopped here at Great Wall. The lady was really rude. She gave me my order incorrect and then blamed it on me. Then when I asked her questions about it, she said I talk too much and threatened to call the police if I kept asking questions. I told her feel free to call but I want my correct order. She agreed and told me in an aggravated tone to stop asking questions. They fixed the food and it was horrible. The chicken was soggy and i was almost scared to eat it because I was afraid she had spit in it. If you are reading these reviews they are very accurate. Dont even waste your time.

I will never give my money here again. Usually good food despite the horrible customer service. After specifically requesting no pork or onions in my rice I received meals with both. She didnt want to replace the chicken at first but since I dont eat pork(religiously), I asked them to recook that too. She acted like it was a problem even though it was their mistake. I paid ten dollars in fares just to get my food and then take it back for a remake which wasnt even ready when I arrived. My sugar level dropped from not eating and I requested a dollar can of soda while I waited. I felt it was the least they could do for making me wait and having to pay twice for a ride to fix their mistakes. They couldnt even do that and even laughed at the situation.

Very rude! Especially the cashier everyone else has mentioned! And I am an officer and I still got charged dinner price for a lunch serving! They conned an officer! All because I didnt say lunch special at during lunch hours. Not to mention the homeless man they denied a cup of water to in my face! I bought him his water! May this place go "Out of Business"! They should feel luck they have a place in this country! I will stay anonymous as long as possible.

Im seriously not trying to be rude. But the food was gross. I ordered the General Tsos lunch special and it was ready pretty quickly. The chicken just had no flavor - it wasnt spicy, I couldnt taste its flavor. The rice was good, but even mixed in the sauce, it just had nothing to it. (FYI: there are noodles in the fried rice). There are plenty of other GREAT places in town. Try one of those.

Went after work at 10pm , food had no flavor, went back with food next morning, they told me they didnt understand when I said I wanted a refund and told me to sit down bc the owner was on the way and instead the police arrived and told me that their policy is that they dont give refunds! Will NEVER go back!!

Wow! It was a perfect evening, from the wine, to the outdoor seating, to the service and the exceptional meal and cannoli! We waited a while (the indoor dining area is small) and the outside dining is limited as well but the 30 minute wait was well worth it !

WonTon soup here is so much better than anywhere else close. always 10 minutes for pick up. Friendly-ish worker. But very good food...fast!
