Went with some friends a few weeks ago and sat out by the fire pit. We had all started on our first drinks, when it started to rain. After going inside, the hostesses told us they dont have a seating system, that its first come first serve. So, we had to split up since there were 8 of us. We asked our original sever to give us all separate checks so we could tab out and open a new tab with the new servers. Apparently this was too difficult as they had to talk for 10 minutes then get the manager involved. It took an hour before we finally got our checks. One plus is they have a decent beer selection, however, it is way too pricey. Just drive the quarter mile to Preyer where they charge $4 for a pint of their beer as opposed to the $6 that WOB charges for a Preyer pint. I didnt get a chance to try the food, but wont go back.

Amazing selection of beers both taps and bottles. 56 taps today, and I had a hard time choosing. The food was also very good, and the suggested beer pairings seem to match very well. Positives aside, its not kid friendly with little to nothing on the menu a toddler will eat. Why bring a toddler you ask? Grandparents into beer come from out of town and want to try it... Reason enough. Service is a little rough, which is the reason for three stars instead of 4. Hopefully a few more weeks open and more training will let me rate them higher sometime later. I suspect they will improve (I hope) and with their food and exceptional beer variety, theyll rate 4 stars soon.

Great atmosphere, Good Food, and Fantastic beer selection. The few bad reviews Ive seen seem to come from unrealistic expectations and non craft beer drinkers. One review read they couldnt get a seat on a Saturday night....HELLO, its Saturday!!!!! If you stop by ask for COURTNEY. Shes my favorite bartender/waiter. The managers are awesome and def make time to stop and mingle with the crowd. The first few months had hiccups when they opened but WOB has made a major 360 and I cant speak more highly of the establishment. Keep up the awesome job WOB and Staff!!!!!!

I love the beer. But each time Ive been something has gone wrong with the food. Last time we got the wrong order. And before that my mac n cheese came out to me cold, like it had been prepared that morning put in the fridge and not heated up before bringing it out. The waitress we had this last time kept blaming everything on her manager and she brought us wrong beer and was running as she did everything... running around like that just isnt exeptible... they werent even that busy. Its not a bad place to drink its cute but I wont be having food there.

Ive visited here several times in the past, but todays visit was disappointing. First, the bartender had an attitude when we asked him for a beer- he was more interested in cleaning glasses. We then tried the new chicken nachos- mistake. The black beans were MIA, very few jalapenos, and the chips looked like they came out of the bottom of a bag of Tostitos, except Tostitos wouldve been better. The chicken tasted good, but was lukewarm. Fortunately, the meatballs and tater tots we ordered were great, which saved this visit from being rated a one.

Food was great. Tons of beer choices. Good for families. I was comfortable there with my 4 year old son although most food items and of course the drinks revolve around beer in some form or fashion. I ordered a German plate called "Pork Schnitzel" which is not only delicious and filing but also well within budget. If you order the German pretzel be prepared to share as its huge. I gave a 4-star rating because of the waiter but the restaurant itself is a definite 5-stars.

My party and I were waited on by Eric inside of restaurant, and he did a fantastic job of taking care of our party, outside I was taken care of by Lindsay, she helped out a lot and was also, very great. The downside, its very loud and dark in the restaurant, some drinks tasted watered down, the club soda was flat and the Poke lacked flavor. I would go back again, because I was very pleased with the customer service from the wait staff.

Overall, I think World of Beer has a good drink selections and surprisingly good food. I had a cheeseburger the last time I was here and was quite happy with it. I also like their Apple Cole slaw. I also like the option to get a flight of different beers to sample. I would say this is a good place to watch some of the games. My only complaint would be that they close early for a sports bar-type restaurant.

I absolutely loved the atmosphere!! I had amazing service! And not to mention so many choices of beer! I was seated immediately. I was served by Eric and Lindsay and I must say, some of the best service Ive had in a while! I would definitely recommend for parties or even just to have a nice drink! The quality of the beer was OUTSTANDING! Not to mention the food quality was FANTASTIC!!

Ive been here three times. Love the food and beer selection, but the service is getting progressively worse. This week we arrived around 5pm on a Sunday. There were only about three tables with diners, so the place was practically deserted. We were given a menu... and waited... and waited... and waited. After ten minutes of being ignored we finally left. Very disappointed.

We really enjoy this place. They have a great, ever changing, (get it while its there, because next trip it may be gone) beer selection. The food is pub fare, with a little German influence - brats. pretzels, so forth, and done well. I like the sausage platter app; has 3 different sausages, some pickles, a couple of dipping sauces... very good.

Really great bar, staff were nice and the food was amazing. Got a free pretzel by using Stealz, now I have to get that pretzel every time I go because it was just that good! Entrees were okay but I recommend just getting a few group appetizers and eating those as the meal, they are really good and you get more variation. Will be going back soon!

As a local chef I dont think this food was worth the price... Steak was down right nasty.. 20 wing for 21 bucks and they are trash.... Best thing about this place is the cute bartender that works the bar Thursday nights.... Other then that I say save ur money and just go to Jakes diner....same food just way better tasting

Im not a frequent visitor to this place it was a bad and embarrassing experience for me last nite... The manager and a waitress started blaming that due to bad behavior We abandoned you last time when you came in.... And I was like no clue what they are talking about... And l have leave the place without no reason...

I try to rate things horribly but it took 40mins before I was served and over a hour before I got the food I immediately put in when I finially got waited on. Have had a couple okay experiences here but this one did it in for me. Lots of similar options in Greensboro to deal with the service.
