If I could give zero stars I would. My friends and I wanted to go check Corner Bar out last night, my friend then walked over just to see if there were lots of people inside and then proceeds to tell her, for entry needed a MEMBERSHIP to get inside of the bar. Ive never heard of having a membership to go inside a bar. Last time we went we didnt need a membership so why this time? He then turns us away but then allows 7 other Caucasian women into the bar but by just checking their id and letting them in. Never asking if they had memberships. We then stood across the street and watched the security guy turn away every black person that wanted to go into the bar. This place is racist and I will never spend my money here again. Simply ignorant and disgusting that we were turned away because the color of our skin.

When you think of bars, you think " I wish I could goto The Corner Bar & enjoy great beers, drinks & shots with all my closest friends ". Well luckily for everyone around the Greensboro area that place is open 7 days a week. Ive never been to a more magical place that makes everyones dreams come true 7 days a week. Its basically like if you could take happiness, mix it in a cup, add sunshine on top of it & have it served to you by all your best friends that just want to see you happy. Everyone has a Corner Bar story.... Whats yours ?

Its an establishment that youd tell your grandparents you enjoyed.. Theyd probably agree. Its been around for a minute... Or since UNCG became famous as an actual college... Either way... Its a place I like to go into to have a beer, play ping pong, pool, darts, karaoke, games or trivia or get hammered and be in good hands. Responsible bar tenders, great people and more importantly, an environment that everyone loves! Its my place!

This is my go to bar of choice in the boro. I do avoid college night on Tuesday because Im too old for that crowd but every other day is always inviting. The bar staff is always friendly and they treat you like your favorite neighbor. The drinks are priced well and the selection of rotating taps is always great. They have games to keep you entertained an free cover on nights with live music.

Corner bar has always been my first move(and the last) when Im going out. Tuesdays they have mug night which is ridiculous....2$ for 22oz of Red Oak....unbelievable. any other night of the week they have great specials that rival any bar youll find. Bartenders are attractive as they are tentative (which is very,if you were wondering). Check it out if youre in the area!

If you like friendly dive bars, youll hate this place. Worst staff in Greensboro and their beer selection is not surprisingly terrible! We hate going early and playing their trivia. Its no fun and the people are a bit sketchy with rings in their noses and menacing looks. My friends and I highly recommend staying far away from this place!

At this point why would you go else where? They have pink mugs for havens sake. Seriously. Why would you pay 4$ for a drink at Jakes when you can get a affordable beer at the corner bar with friendly people. Furthermore, dont even get me started on the popcorn. Best place to be this side of town.

I have been here a time or two in my days. You can always count on Kenny to brighten your day! Best bartender east of the Mississippi hands down. The Corner Bar is great two sides both with full bar and games. When I am in town I like to think the Corner Bar is my Cheers, just call me Norm!

I stopped by here one night when I was in Greensboro on business for a few days. The drinks were affordable and they had a fairly decent beer list. The bartenders and patrons were very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend it to all. Thanks for a great time guys!

This bar was a staple for the residents on Warren! A few years back I was seeing someone named Eric L. We dated for years and this was his "Go to" spot! When I would visit wed frequent this "cheers-like" atmosphere bar...it was AWESOME!

So whats up with Corner bar not accepting A&T I.Ds anymore. I dont understand what happened, there was never an issue before. No one ever started a fight, or got rowdy, so why do you choose to not serve A&T students?

First off, I love that this bar is a local Chive hangout. KCCO! The staff are really friendly and beer is always cold and on hand. Only issue I have is the pool tables need to be repaired and get new felt.

A 250 pound bouncer, physically manhandled a young lady for taking her drink outside. Completely unacceptable! Will never patronize this place, and I advise all NC A&T students not to either.
