This was a very bad experience--altogether. I got 3 items of food and they all had issues. Ill say upfront that Ive been to many Thai food places and know my way around Thai food. The mushroom soup tasted like something was very foul and tasted, literally, like how a garbage dumpster smells. I sent it back only to get really no response, or offer to do something to make things right...nothing. One of the staff kept going over to a table where a couple were eating and this staff kept taking food from the customers plates, with her hands, and eating and then handling other costumers plates, etc. Thats just really bad ! Im sure this staff knew the customers at that table but eating with ones hands, while working, and while handling other customers food and plates?! Thats just really bad. The 2nd item was fresh rolls, which were sloppy-made and the rice-wraps were not fresh but very rubbery--to the point that I couldnt really eat them--and didnt. The 3rd item was a chicken stir-fry. The chicken was very overcooked and the sauce was just a salty sauce with no flavor really. I watched a couple come in and they had to literally sweep off the food from whoever was seated there before b/c the table wasnt cleaned, (and there was plenty of time and it wasnt too busy there). Ill never make the mistake of going there again. Gross, sloppy, overcooked, and staff was actually eating off costumers plates, numerous times, while working and causing cross-contamination with her hands. All around a bad experience. NEVER again.

Reasonably refined menu, unimpressively executed food in an overtly repurposed interior; curries & fresh rolls should be elementary. Portions oddly large and pricey. No lunch specials offered. Flavours are almost all entirely off; mushy fried rice, very little reminiscent of the elegant & extraordinary cuisine of Thailand (Ban mi is Vietnamese) from this kitchen on a slow Thursday afternoon... Boon Choo is that rural hole-in-the-wall off the interstate one so desperately wants to enjoy. Unfortunately, for now, the best thing about Boon Choo is their logo. Heres to improvement, please!

When in Hendersonville, you MUST try the new BoonChoo Thai Express! Delicious REALLY fresh food that is quickly delivered for dine-in or takeout. Delighted to see that there is such a wonderful dining option just off the interstate beside Blueridge College campus. The fresh rolls, green papaya salsa and tom yum soup are absolutely divine!

First time trying Thai food. Loved it! This is a great choice for delicious, healthy food. Everything was fresh. Food was hot and so good. Staff was very welcoming and fun. Restaurant was very clean. Definitely made my list of favorite restaurants.

Poplar Leaf cafe is a quaint low key place for a home cooked meal. Their sandwiches taste just like my mom made lunch for me. The prices are very reasonable. I have found a favorite place for lunch when Im in town.

Love this cafe! Great coffee, the FRESHLY made food is fabulous! Great choices for breakfast and lunch. Plus friendly service and nice atmosphere also, Its one of my newest favorite places to eat.

Awesome experience! Stopped for lunch today and it was very good! The Ginger & Rice soup was perfect for the day! We will be back as this is a "must" for dining in the area!!

Great food and portions with a layedback atmosphere. They have a kids menu as well and Subway is next door for kids who dont like Asian cuisine. Takeout and wifi.
