I am not at all impressed. Served me my empanada and five minutes after I finished it I had to ask ask for my drink because he still hadnt brought them to us. The server is trying his hardest to be polite without speaking any English. I see the cook in the back and she is watching TV elbows on table chatting to someone in her native tongue on the phone. Twenty minutes in we still are waiting for #1 rated Cuban sandwich both me and my friend had ordered and French fries. My view of the kitchen from the bar we sat at to eat is thru a 2 foot by 1 foot rectangle cit out of the wall. All I can see is a toaster oven stainsteel counter and microwave. This place is a joke and I cannot even smell food from where I sit. The place smells like restaurant sanitizer water for table top cleaning 25 minutes with only one other table occupied besides the two of us and still no food. But I saw what looked like a sandwich being pulled out of the microwave and told my server I do not want a microwaved sandwich it is a pressed sandwich not a microwaved sandwich. I paid for my drink and empanada and left. Get out of here a microwaved sandwich.

This amazing little sandwich shop is hidden in a neighborhood near the Bucs stadium and is my go to Cuban sandwich shop in Tampa. I have been eating at this restaurant for over 20 years and honestly it hasnt changed alot....it is always great! My favorite sandwich is the Medianoche sandwich which is essentially a Cuban sandwich on a soft sweet egg bread instead of the crunchy Cuban bread that the standard Cuban sandwich is made with. Simply delicious!

Been there twice and I think they over price their food I ordered a steak sandwich and I ate more lettuce and bread than steak their white bean soup was gross super dry and no flavor. I will not be returning to this place I told the owner why I didnt eat the soup and looked at me like Im crazy and not once apologized.

Had to get the cuban sandwich as the title page of the menu said "best cuban sandwich in Tampa Bay." It was good, but I would say theres much better out there. The place is very affordable and the cuban coffee is good. Id go back and try another dish.

My favorite restaurant of all time!! I drive 40 min for this Cuban sandwich on a regular basis... its the best you will ever have. Sweetest staff. Ive tried so many cuban restaurants in Florida, but nothing compares to this place!

The food is amazing. The cleanest restaurant in Tampa. This very small hide a way is a cant miss place to eat. I would put their cuban sandwich above any you can name, even the most famous places.

Their Cuban Sandwich and Cafe con Leche is probably among the best Ive ever had. But, their Steak Quesadilla is dream. Which is funny because this is not a Mexican Restaurant. Totally recommended!
