Terrible customer service. I have ordered take out for breakfast 6 times from this place and was always satisfied until today. I ordered their biscuit benedict. Instead of receiving the poached eggs, bacon, hollandaise, and pimento cheese like the menu describes.... I got scrambled eggs, gravy, and jam. When I called Foodie Call (the delivery service I used for the take out order) to let them know I got the wrong order he was very helpful and said he would get the right order delivered to me. He then calls back to tell me the manager said she checked the order herself and that I got the right thing. I explained again what I received and how it was different from what I ordered! 2 hours after I originally ordered my breakfast I got what I ordered! And the flying biscuit cafe had the nerve to ask for the wrong order back!!!! We will never be patrons of the flying biscuit again. I dont mind a mistake but to go back and forth with a customer when the restaurant is wrong is inexcusable!

Went to the park road location for burnch this morning and was very unimpressed with both the food and the service. Ordered the Tiramisu pancakes, big mistake. They were dry, bitter, unsweet, and had some sort of cream sauce that literally turned my stomach. Also, didnt come with any sides, not even a biscuit (as I keep hearing every meal comes with one). Waitress never checked on us until my guy was done eating. She asked if something was wrong with my pancakes, i told her i really didnt care for them. I was not offered a replacement dish of my choice. Only more pancakes (which I did not want). Was charged for them, and left the restaurant hungry. Also, coffee was full of grinds. Waited 20 minutes for a check. Never again.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! We love the Atlanta haunt and living in Charlotte want to love Flying Busciut, BUT WHO IS RUNING THIS PLACE??? We will not return. Our name added to list at hostess stand and when I attempted to wait within the door, was told No, I must wait outside according to management. I went to bar seating to get a cup of coffee (since outside heater was crowded by waiting guests), I was asked to move if not ordering food...ironically, a restaurant employee had paper work at end bar seat - I guess employees can work at bar area - not for customers...On past experiences our feelings were that the place was surviving on the merits of good grits - service has been horrible and today was the tipping point.

I just ate here... the food is pretty good split a Hollywood omelette... and biscuits n gravy... the omelette was cool Ill give it a 7... the biscuits n gravy 9... not enough gravy... the main reason why I give 3 stars were for 2 essential factors... the service was bad and Im not here complaining, thats just a fact... hire better more friendly staff... at least 3 people working today Fri. 6-17... were not cut out for the service industry... but I understand people need jobs... also the water is terrible! It didnt have to be spring water, but I dont think its too much to ask for quality filtered water in a restaurant that supposedly serves "organic" ingredients...

So, I was surprisingly disappointed with my visit. The host was lackadaisical and seemed to have an attitude,he just sort of stared at me and wired for me to speak instead of greeting me. When we were seated the checks from the guest before hand were there, I let him know and he said the server would grab it. Not that I am this type of person, but anyone could have easily taken any tip or cash in the check folder. I know because its happened to me before as a server and I had to pay out of pocket for their meal. My server was okay, not bad but also not good. Food was eh. Both mine and my boyfriends biscuits were super hard, my grilled mac and cheese was cold.

The food is plain terrible. Please some explain why the bacon is completely flat. Did they pull the ol switcheroo with some Beggin Strips thinking we wouldnt notice? Nasty nasty. If you want anything resembling normal brunch, do not. Everything on the menu is so cutesy. Where is the traditional brunch? Dont get me started on the biscuit - it tasted like a cookie. Nice, but NOT a biscuit. Positives: the grits were pretty darn good and the service was ok. But we decided that it was packed b/c everyone there was a first timer---- retention rate should be ZERO.

Been here two times, both for breakfast. The most recent time I had the turkey hash. The "turkey" was a brown, shredded, meatlike substance, not the "roast turkey" that I expected from the menu description. The shredded "turkey" was topped with two eggs and a slice of very orange melted cheese - the topping was fine. BUT - I would never, ever, get that dish again. On a previous occasion I had the Southern Omelette, which was not horrible, but was not particularly good either. Service one time was poor, the other time it was good.

My wife and I ate at the Park Road location in Charlotte for brunch on a Friday. I ordered a "peach mimosa" and she had the "banana strawberry mimosa." My meal was the "Clifton Omelette" and hers the "Biscuit Eggs and Gravy." We also decided to get a half order of "Heavenly French Toast" and "Lemon Poppy Seed Pancakes." Also, coffee with soy milk... All the food was delicious and we were excited about leftovers to eat later. Service and atmosphere was great. Has vegetarian and vegan options. Recommend this restaurant 100%

Not a fancy place, but the best breakfast you can get all day for vegetarians! I love any place that has veggie meat alternative options. They have veggie soy-sage as a alternative to breakfast meat which I always get with whatever breakfast entree I order. The creamy dreamy grits are the best grits I have ever had. Very rich and creamy. There is usually a wait on the weekends unless you get there super early, but the turn over is pretty high on the tables so hopefully you wont have to wait too long for a table.

Delicious food, hot coffee, and a cold beer at Way-Too-Early OClock. Gotta love it. When we went, there was already a crowd of six or seven people outside waiting for them to open - which is always a good sign. The only point Ill ding them for is the French Toast we ordered - it was literally some wheat bread toast with some sauces drizzled over it. It was good, but when I order French Toast, I expect something soaked in eggs and milk, maybe some cinnamon - you know, pan-fried French Toast. Am I crazy?

An excellent experience all around. We were quickly seated on a Sunday morning, with fast and witty service by a waiter who made our meal great. I havent had this level of service in a long time and it is what every restaurant should strive for. The food was also delicious in a home-grown, Southern way. The turkey hash was phenomenal and came highly recommended for good reason. Ill be making this a go to every time I am in town.
