Oh gosh, whats there to say about a strip mall Chinese restaurant but its not as simple as it sounds! In my opinion, there is still quite a bit of variation even if the insides and menus may look the same. And I really had to look in the Cary area near my office to find a decent one, right now First China is it! For lunch Ive done their specials at about $6 and their egg foo young is also excellent. The portion size for price is good and their service is pretty darn quick. Just watch out for their location, its VERY hard to see unless youre looking for it. Theyre located in the corner of the plaza and you cant see the sign coming in from the majority of entrances. Just keep on going until you see their small storefront. And its worthwhile because for Chinese-American eats, First China does it quite well...

BAD BAD BAD.....there are other chinese restaurants to go to. Do yourself a favor and pass this one. I ordered a Sesame Chicken meal with Crab Rangoon Wontons. Every single piece of the chicken was overcooked to the point of dried shredded chicken skin in a sauce. Not a single piece of edible meat. The Wontons also overcooked. Terrible food from a dingy restaurant. Very friendly service but I was cheated a meal. I wont be back for 2nds.

Worst place I have ever eating Chinese from went in that night to get me a plate got down to the bottom of my food and had a piece of hair in my food. Called them the next day to tell them and they told me to bring it in. "Who will keep a plate of food with hair in it?" I told her I threw the plate away but took a picture of it she told me she couldnt do anything about it since I dont have the hair. What kind of mess is that?

Update: Years later and its still my favorite place. Best Chinese food take away in Cary. The place is typical in its decoration or lack there of but it matters not. The food is made to order, hot, and delicious. Cant go wrong with lo mein, egg foo young, fried rice, mei fun, etc. Try the dishes on the right side of the menu. Yum! Closest thing Ive found that compares to NY chinese restaurants. The prices are reasonable.

This is place is great. Been ordering their food for a couple years now, and it continues to be excellent, and always ready in 15 to 20 minutes. Portions are big, we always have enough for 2 nights, which makes the cost per meal per person very reasonable. Love the happy family entry...lots of really good stuff, in a nice rich sauce.

Best chinese food takeout Ive had since we moved to Cary. I got the General Tso Chicken dinner and raggoons and they were really good. I would eat here again, and in fact, im eating here tonight. they are a bit slow for takeout, but order ahead and pick up is a good bet.

Without a doubt the best Chinese food in the RTP area (arguably the country). As a self proclaimed connoisseur of Chinese food, this is far and away the best Ive ever had (and Ive had plenty). Great food, great sauce, and great price!

Terrible customer service...tried to get delivery, first they told me I was too far away when I was only 2.5mi away, then they said it was too late...then they said I was not ordering enough for delivery.....rediculous!!

They have excellent lunch specials, and are great about customizing your order spice-wise. Their Sesame Tofu is heavenly, perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, with a great proportion of sauce.
