Nobody should expect a buffet to have high quality food. But somewhere there exists a minimum standard of quality below which food has no reason to exist. The food at Fuji Buffet goes so far below this level that its trying to dig its way back to China. The first warning sign was the selection. French fries? Pizza? Mac & Cheese? Potatoes? Buffalo wings? Cheesy custard rolls? It didnt matter what the choice was. Everything was horrible. The ribs were crunchy on the outside and gristle on the inside. The chicken dishes were all rubbery. The wings were slimy. Everything was bland. The pizza was like a wet sponge with old cheese on it, and the macaroni seemed to have been cooked for 30 minutes without salt and then doused with skim milk and water. Disgusting. Needless to say, we didnt stick around to try the sushi and seafood, but I cant image they were palatable. The restaurant itself smelled of pee, overcompensating levels of bleach, and bad seafood. There was a lot of water damage on the ceilings, grime on the walls, and fruit flies were buzzing around. The real kicker of the night was that when I tried to get the plates comped (we barely ate anything), the manager accused us of never having tasted Chinese food before, blaming us for the bad experience. Do yourself a favor. Dont waste your money here. $12 per plate is pretty steep considering itll taste just as good if you fish it out of the dumpster the next day for free.

Im not normally a fan of Chinese Buffet places, however my visit to New Fuji has changed my views. This place is not your typical Chinese Buffet, they have a vast selection of foods that appeal to even those who dont particularly care for Chinese. They also have a good seafood selection as well as dessert bar. However, my favorite aspect of New Fuji is their drink specials. The bubble teas are good and the cheapest youll find in town, not to mention you can order a bottle of wine for the same price you would pay at the store? Its nice to see that not all places have a 100% markup on their drinks! Although its not the fanciest restaurant in Syracuse its definitely cozy and an appealing place for those who like to get their Moneys Worth!

This place is soooooo disgusting food was freezing and tasted soo dry Mac and cheese tasted like water I had to pull over and throw up in a trash can on the side of the road before I got home the servers never came and never asked if we wanted a refill I think they get the sushi from the gross fish tank In the lobby Id give this place a negative 5 review at best I only gave 1 star because thats lowest I could give it and Im pretty shure I saw a flea jump off my plate I new I was going to regret walking in the second I walked and it smelled musty and no waitresses smiled or anything I from the look of the outside I should of known It wasnt gonna be very pleasing I only stopped because I was starving and hadnt eaten anything all day

I love this place. We tend to go here when in the mood for Sushi, and this last time we went (on the weekend mid-friday on 3/21/14) the sushi chef even came around and asked us if we wanted special plates of sushi just for us! It was very pretty and very tasty, and we didnt end up paying extra for it. My fiance and I were so impressed, weve decided that even if theyre a bit more expensive and farther to get to for us than competitor Ling Ling, were making the trek to the east side of town any and EVERY time were in the mood for Chinese! Besides, you can get your drink on here if youre a social drinker, and the atmosphere is just nicer than any other Chinese place Ive been to in the area. I <3 New Fuji!

We sat in the parking lot for about 10 minutes, debating whether or not this was a decent place. We decided to go in and not judge the place based on the outside. As soon as we entered, we knew it was a mistake. Trust me, I never usually write reviews on restaurants, but I want to warn others. Our server was a sweetheart and the sushi guy was nice, but the food quality is just not there...at all. The food is cold, the place smells like wet floors, and your body will instantly reject what youre feeding it. Im trying to stay as positive as possible, but I think I need to go lay down with a hot wash cloth on my forehead. Friendly staff :)

I tries this place yesterday for the first time after reading all previous reviews and im glad I did. THis by far have to be the best Asian Buffet in syracuse. I great variety of Sushi freshly made. Lots of drink special, Draft from $0.49 , $.99 and $1.99 is great. THe bubble tea was first time experience but it was good, i had the Papaya and Mango. They have a deset that was out of this world good. Im not sure what the name is but is look like a small little cake warm made with cocounut and pineapple, you got to try it. THe food didnt had that chemical low quality taste of others buffet around the aread. Im certainlly going back.

This is one of the best buffets I have been to. The place is very big and is always busy. Great selection of the Chinese food and sushi, I normally eat Sushi and things that I cant get from normal Chinese Food places. I was very impressed by the sushi selection for the price I paid. And their drink menu is very accommodating and affordable. They have special drinks like Margarita and Gin and Tonic for one dollar with buffet, and all wines are 50% off! I love it! I can even get bubble tea there! Also love their bar lounge, they play good music and the atmosphere is great, on weekend, they even have live band playing!!!

Ребята это отличный китайский буфет по системе шведского стола, хороший выбор, всегда свежее, куриные шашлыки, раки, мясо, китайские салаты, десерты, мороженное, все вкусно, цена в будни днем $7,50, после 3 часов дороже, в выходные по $9,50 на человека.

As soon as we walked in the fish tank was nasty unkept. We go to get seated and two separate Employees steped over a oaster shell Without picking it up. Then we go to eat and there is black mold in the grout around the Food. Then we checked the bathroom which is blackened from lack of cleaning and floor boards were in disrepair withe more black mold. We left immediately. How this place got 3.9 stars I have no idea and manage to pass inspections is beyond me. I Went to empire Chinese same prices same Food. But actually up to code and Clean

My girlfriend and I ate here for lunch once, my girlfriend sat down with her food and mentioned a extra large cockroach near the sushi bar. I got up and walk over to see it sitting there next to the food. I informed the waitress and she got the manager to come over to our table. She apologized and indicated they keep a clean restaurant and would offer me my money back. I said what about my girlfriend and she looked at me like I was crazy. After standing there for a few minutes she said yes. Never will step into that place again.
