Im a native Staten islander who has been goin to this pace since I was a kid. (Roughly 1989) over the last 10 yrs Ive moved away from NY and came back to visit and always eat here. Over the last year tho the food has become a 50/50 hit or miss. Sometimes the food is amazing and others its slacking. As of yesterday I ordered around lunch time. Only steamed veggies and white rice. I called prior to goin there and after 20 mins food still wasnt ready. Service sucks now. The girls who they hire to take your order have a attitude, and occasionally forget your order all together killing valuable time. If u catch em on a good day food is great

Love the General Tso chicken. Fortune is one of the most accommodating Chinese restaurants I have ordered from. I often like add cashews to my order, which I often get resistance from some establishments. This is not the case when ordering out. I must admit I have only used ordered take out in the past and find their menu to be on par with others. Deliveries are prompt and drivers are patient.

Maybe Im spoiled by Brooklyns Chinese food but Staten Island probably has some of the worst chinese food Ive ever had - this place is prime example - discustingly oversalted and has nasty, soapy after taste. We ordered four different dishes and not a single person enjoyed it in our office.

I love this place! The food is the best! It is always fresh! I started going here 20 years ago. Now my kids are grown and driving and even thou we moved far from the place 12years ago. my kids go there with there friends. We would never eat at any other Chinese place.

I ordered from Grub Hub and the place refused to bring my food to me. They parked the car down the street and asked me to walk over claiming they were scared to get robbed even though I already paid online.

I just picked up my Chinese food! It tasted Delicious but as I went in on the plate I noticed a piece of black straight hair! I feel yuk! So sad I wont be eating again from there
