I was working in the area doing a residential job in Hopewell at the time. We ordered about $35 worth of food and sent someone to go pick it up without realizing we didnt give him enough money. My co-worker came back and said the man behind the counters exact words were,"I cant let a man go hungry, just come back and pay up the difference tomorrow." You dont find service like that any more unless youre a regular at a particular place. Now, with that said, I ordered a grilled chicken salad and it was great. The lettuce was fresh and crisp, and I dont know where they get their croutons or if they make them in house but theyre damn delicious. Well definitely be eating here again whenever were in the area. The site of the former muskoot, Villa nigrelli is a traditional Italian American restaurant with NY style pizza that opened in early 2016. There is a separate side entrance (on the parking lot) for pizza pickup as well. The food and pizza here are good, portions are huge, meatballs are the size of basketballs. Service is friendly. The website shows fresh pasta, but the pasta I had was regular Barilla from a box. Pizza is fresh, NY style. You can basically only get to it from the northbound side of the taconic, as mere mortals are not allowed to cross from the other side. Police often come here to eat so be forewarned if you try to cross.

Went on a Friday night at 6:30pm and was glad we had a reservation as the restaurant was quite busy. There were not many open tables either inside or out. The staff was quite attentive and answered any questions we had. The food was all very delicious and the portions were large. The only negative I can think of is the noise level. It was quite difficult to hear people even at my table. Noise level aside, I would go back for another meal!

I have been to Villa Nigrelli many times since they opened and have never been disappointed. The food is so well prepared and presented. The waiter, Anthony, goes out of his way to make sure you are well taken care of. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!

Had pasta grouper and eggplant. Large very tasty portions. Only complaint was the noise level. Deafening to say the least. My ears are still ringing. Try to eat outside or go off hours. Very hard to hear to the point of being unpleasant.

Dont go. Because the food is so good, the portions so generous, the place is always crowded. Stay away (Ill have less of a wait for a table). Seriously, my favorite Italian eatery South of Canada. Bon Appetito

Excellent all around. To go meals were all correct and packaged nicely. The counterman was friendly. The food was delicious, especially the fettuccine alfredo...pasta was cooked perfectly and the flavor was great!
