I did an online order so that way it would be ready by the time I took my lunch break. I ordered a turkey burger on a gluten free bun with jalapenos and french fries. I received an email that said my order would be ready by 1:12pm, so I made sure that I was there on time. I tell the girl behind the counter that I placed the online order and she looked at the tickets and said "Okay, it will be ready in a few minutes". I hate when restaurants dont live up to what they are saying, dont tell me 1:12pm if it is a busy day and it wont be ready by then. But that wasnt even the problem, so Im standing there for about 10 to 15 minutes while other people get their food. Turns out that the cook put the wrong ticket on my bag and they left it just sitting on the counter. When they finally gave me the bag, the bun was soggy and falling apart, the turkey burger was horrible and the jalapenos were not even spicy. For the price they charge and the lack of service, I will NEVER go back there and I will make sure I tell everyone I know not to as well.

I placed a huge order and the delivery person only arrives with a few singles to give me change for a large bill. The delivery person calls the manager while he is standing at my door and the manager was extremely rude by blaming the customer instead of rectifying the problem. I ended up having to pay with a credit card on the phone because of their incompetence. We even tipped the delivery person in cash because we felt it was not his fault. He has the audacity to tell us as he is walking away that we are "nasty and rude people" and "my manager says that we are doing you a favor by delivering to you guys". Appalling customer service from manager and delivery person! Sub-par food and atrocious appreciation for their customers.

Staff was very nice and welcoming. I had one of the specialty burgers and had great flavor. The fries were superb and the servings was bigger than I expected it to be. Very fulling. My wife is a vegan and ordered their veggie burger which she greatly enjoyed the flavor of. Her one complaint was she wouldve liked the bun to be a bit smaller. Her veggie burger came with a side salad. The serving was a great size and the mixed greens were very fresh. We each got a soda to go with it and the bill came out to about $27. Would certainly come back here.

Now THIS is a great burger joint! Sure, its a bit on the costly side, but hey...you get what you pay for and with the Burger Spot, you get an incredible hamburger! Juicy, tender and very flavorful, with a menu full of mouthwatering burger-variations. The french fries are some of the best Ive ever tasted anywhere, ever! Its a small place, but the service is excellent, as everyone is very friendly and helpful. Forget the premium burger joints franchises, and check this place out! You wont be disappointed!

The Athenian Burger is amazing! If you like fetta cheese you will love this burger because they actually give you a nice chunk of fetta. They allowed me to have a side salad in lieu of french fries. I had a few of my boyfriends french fries and they were great. The bun is amazing. The menu says they are delivered every morning from a bakery. This place is great but a tad expensive. However, everything is so fresh so it is worth it!

Living in nearby Westbury for the summer (for work), Ive been sampling many of the local restaurants. My mom came into to town to visit and we decided on The Burger Spot in Garden City. I had the Athenian (substituted a turkey burger) while my mom opted for the Belgian Burger. We both agreed that our burgers were cooked to perfection. Fries were crispy but not over cooked! The service was great. I would definitely come here again.

Very solid counter serve burger place. Ive enjoyed everything Ive tried, but the place can be a bit pricy as a burger and fries can pretty easily turn into a $15+ meal. Last time I had the Hawaiian burger with pineapple and soy sauce. It was yum but very soy saucy and messy. Not a lot of seating, even with some outside, so be prepared to get to go just in case, especially on days you wouldnt want to sit outside.

They are absolutely awesome , Me and my GF walked in after a friend spoke good of them .. well we walked in at 7:58pm on Sunday .. not knowing they closed at 8pm. Well I just told them I would come back next time but the guys there would not have it !! They fired up the grilles and cooked for us and it was amazing. The Burger Spot is my new "cheers"

The burgers are great. I enjoyed it. And I understand that garden city rent is way overboard. Therefore inflated rent based on wealthy neighbourhood is the culprit of high priced burgers . they could have opened in Hempstead which is right next door to garden city which has cheaper rents and more foot traffic.

Prime juicy, grilled hamburgers, for the carnivorous. Choice of turkey burgers or juicy tender chicken sandwiches, wrapped on fresh greens. Excellent choice of salads for the vegetarian. Delicious onion rings, chilled beer and wine, love the lentil soup in the winter months. Excellent customer service.

4 stars only because of limited seating. To the owners of "The Burger Spot". You have it going! The food is amazing, the staff is friendly, would you please rent the store next to yours and expand?! Or extend a owning or get a portico for your outside area!

I ordered a hamburger which claimed to come with lettuce, tomato, and onion but it did not so I ended up with a plain burger with cheese. Then the burger was very dry and did not taste good. Expensive too.

Great food and service. Good variety of nenu choices. Wonderful outdoor dining in season. Indoors a little cramped and noisy. Definitely try it for food WAYYY above fast food for a reasonable price.

Pretty tasty burger! I wasnt crazy over some cream cheese tasting sauce but the burger still tasted great. A little on the pricey side, be warned, but you get what you pay for!
