Pretty new restaurant but overpriced. We had a reservation for 4 people at 7 pm on Wednesday Dec. 2. The restaurant was about half full. After taking our drink order, the waiter reviewed the daily specials. Over drinks, we discussed the menu and the recent reviews of the restaurant. Based on the reviews, two of us knew beforehand that we wanted to order the Seared Scallops with butternut squash risotto and the other two decided to have the Chicken Remoulade special that the waiter touted. When it was time to order the waiter now tells us that they ran out of the Scallops. Big disappointment since we had our hearts set on them. After taking our order, the waiter returns and tells us there is only one order of the Chicken Remoulade special left. WTF? There are only 10 entrees and 2 specials on the menu and 3 out of 4 of us cant get what we order at 7 pm on a Wednesday night in a half full restaurant? At these prices they should be ashamed of themselves. While eating our dinner, the staff brings out a cake and candle and loudly sings happy birthday to a couple at the table next to us. Thats fine but two of the managers sit down at their table and order a second bottle of wine and very loudly celebrate with the couple during the rest of our dinner. I would expect this at a low priced restaurant but not at a place with these prices.

disappointing food for brunch I generally try to read reviews with the understanding that most ppl will post only when unhappy- and so we went here anyway. The ambiance, and dessert (homemade), and support service were good- otherwise- not so much. We had decent (weak) cocktails, the omelets must have been made with 1 egg and the cheese was not even melted-(we were hungry after finishing) and a burger that while ordered "rare" came raw with a cold center- I NEVER send things back, but I had to...no joke cold, and then no lettuce/tomato or much flavor to be honest The waiter then asked "did they take care of that for you" no apology- no comped dessert nothing...Overall aside from the desserts- the food was very pedestrian, particularly for the price. The waiter we had was smug-just not welcoming- unfortunately we dont plan to return...

My husband and I decided to stop for a drink after hearing so much about how I would love the decor..I did love the decor, extremely well done and welcoming. Not to be said about the young female bartender who served us with a definite attitude, are you kidding me? Wine at $18 with her nose in the air!!!~ we had two each and walked away with over a $90 bill. We will not be returning any time soon and perhaps you should train your young staff in the service industry about how to greet and serve a customer.

Excellent service .....we happened to stroll by and the sand bar and outside seating area caught my attention. ..after looking at the tasty menu we where told the kitchen dosent open until 4 ...so not knowing what do to we decided to sit outside and before I had a chance to think the excellent head bartender Dan walked over to us and served us delicious drinks and homemade potatoe chips ....that are to die for ...I highly recommend Sand Bar they go above and beyond

Setting and new building gorgeous. Waitstaff not well trained. Ex. Water glass not refilled until desert. Knocked over my wine glass, staff never noticed. They were always out of sight. Is there a manager managing? The food when it arrived was delicious. Recommendation: a manager on site observering.

I ordered a salad to go and it was laughably bad....The chopped salad with shrimp for $25. It had 3 shrimp and a handful of lettuce inside the container when I got it back. The lettuce was iceberg too. I would definitely not recommend this. The price was absolutely ridiculous for what I was given.

The food was absolutely amazing and the staff had personalities and attitudes to match. They had a beer on tap that the parent company commissioned from Blue Point, Local Cheer, which was a great tasting winter warmer. Will definitely be coming back.

Great ambiance for a casual date night, or small party. The food was hit or miss depending on the dish, but when it hit, it was really good! Definitely would go again.

Drinks at the bar was excellent. Food fell way short. Ordered Octopus and what they actually Cooked was calamari subsituting for the Octopus. As if I would not know!
