Ive ordered food from this place before. The chicken is hot, but the white meat is dry. I remember when they first opened, their chicken was very juicy. Now the meat is dry. Anyways, my review has to do with their service. It is very obvious that they are unprofessional and inexperienced with running a well-managed restaurant. One time, I went to the restaurant 12:30 to get an order of their chicken and the waitress (probably the owner) told me the chicken is not done yet. And that it was still roasting on the roaster. How can you expect to make money when you advertise you sell chicken and its NOT available???? The other day, I called for deliver. I ordered something very simple - their roast chicken! An hr later, I called back to inquire about my order that still didnt come yet. The person who picked up hung up on me. I called back again and this time the person who answered the phone told me that my order had not gotten to my house yet (merely blocks away from restaurant) bc they were very busy. I told them they should have told me that when I ordered that they were very busy and that I should expect to wait 1 hr for my food. Anyways, I told them I didnt want their food anymore. I will NEVER EVER be ordering or going to this place again bc there are so many OTHER food choices around and they clearly do not care about the customers.

Peruvian food in Brooklyn. Ive actually had better pollo (chicken) from another nearby Peruvian shop but what stands out here are the appetizers rather than the mains. Authentic real ceviches. I particularly liked the fish one. Nice amount of spicey kick, could use fewer onion slices and real roasted and poached corn kernals. Nice amount of flavor. The maduros and plantanos were good too. The main that stood out was the grilled skirt steak with fries and a fried egg. Tender and nice amount of char flavor that matched well with the rice and egg. Service to me could of been a bit better. They got our order wrong which delayed things and was a bit of a hassle getting them to get the right order in place. In the end though we did receive the right order.

Very shady business. They do not honor coupons or gift certificates, claiming BS conditions that contradicts whats written on the fine print. The coupon clearly says it can be used for takeout, but they say otherwise. Friday night and the place had two small tables occupied. Yet they play games like this to turn away customers. I, for one, WILL NEVER come back to this place ever again. From the looks of it, it wont last long anyway.

My family and I always order chicken from here since the original name La Granja. However, more often than before when we order takeout the food isnt fresh, and most of the orders are smaller than expected (Large fries: container half empty). Service has gotten bad ever since the name change. Very disappointed. This used to be a great friendly place when it first opened.. I guess it was a front

Food was delicious. We got the steak, which was cooked perfectly to medium rare, the seafood paella was awesome, and the half chicken was so juicy and perfectly cooked. Oh and we couldnt stop eating the roasted corn that they put on the table. That thing was like pure crack. This is definitely going to become our new favorite local spot.

One of the best places in the area. Chicken is awesome. Skirt steak is really good. Plantains and yuca are some of the best ive ever had. Causitas are perfect. The combo meals are a great deal for families or groups. The owners are super nice too. Definitely go if you want real peruvian food. Dont go if you are expecting mexican food.

Great comfort food, big portions, well seasoned food, specially the juicy rotisserie chicken. Service could be slow when the place is full. By the way this place changed its name to La Chacra.
