Update 4/13/15 I received a call from the owner. He apologized and explained the unanticipated staffing issue. I appreciate the call. I just wish I was notified of their situation earlier so I could have arranged to pick up the cake myself. On the bright side, my daughter and everyone at the party loved the ice cream cake. Original Post 4/12/15 HORRIBLE. Dont rely on them for birthday cake. I ordered a cake for delivery at my daughter birthday party right around the corner. They said they would deliver the cake at 11:15. Called a few times when the cake didnt arrive then again at 11:35 my last call to them, I was told the cake delivery person was lost and I could pick up the cake myself. This looks like to me they never tried to deliver it. It was right at the corner, idiot couldnt have been lost. I wont do 20% gratuity beforehand if I had known they would screw me over. At the end the party organizer went and picked it up.

Just moved into the Neighborhood and we were so excited to gab some ice cream. We have been to Haagen-Daz before in the city and the ice cream is always great. No complaints there. However, this particular store was extremely rude and neglectful to myself and girlfriend. We entered the store at 8 pm (two hours before they closed) four employees were working and not one even acknowledged our presence. There were no other customers in the store so there is no excuse. They appeared to be making their own ice cream treats while blatantly ignore us. Once we asked to be served one man reluctantly served us. Additionally, he was rude indicating " You cant have that" instead of explain and educating us on the process. He did not provide any customer service, he provided a disservice. We will visit again and hope I can adjust this review...

Walked in, 2 customers ahead. 2 customers served Im next... Waiting, waiting.... one of the two employees has her hand full (literally) asks the other employee to help with the cakes. Other one responds " Im way-in for him to tell me what he want". I said who is she speaking to, "is that how you greet a customer? Can I just have this cake with Happy Birthday on it." Shes walking over as Im asking for the cake. Then says "I dont do wri-in, you do it" to the other employee. I so sick of going to establishments where Im spending my money and have to deal with employees who hate what they do and want to crap on the customers. Word to Haagen daas. For you problem stores with bad reviews, send in a secret shopper to score the customer service. Next, letter to corporate.

Good quality ice cream in the tradition of Häagen-Dazs, but the staff needs to be a little more excited about promoting their ice cream. This was my 1st time there & I was curious about some other flavors I saw on the photos & wanted to deviate from my Vanilla Swiss Almond which is my all-time favorite. I asked to try a flavor, sorry in customer service when the customer is interested in trying something new, u should be talking it up, not talking to your coworker about decorations u would like to be the one to put up, it appears as if she had forgotten about me for a couple of seconds so I decided let me get my usual & leave. And yes, my usual was delicious as always.

I bought my granddaughter an ice cream on Thursday and left my purse on the seat outside. I did not realize until at least 3/4 of an hour later, and when I went back to the shop, this sweet girl who worked in the shop,had noticed my purse on the seat , and took it inside and waited for me to come back.How good was that ! it was on the main street and would surely have been taken had it not been for the young girl. Also the ice cream is yummy thank you *****

The ice cream is over priced, but very good. Ive Bebe had a bad customer experience there, but all these other reviews have me worried about buying cream there... but Im just rating it based on my wonderful experience: the young lady behind the counter was very nice and we ended up chatting about Orange is the new black... I hope I never get the mean employees that have been talked about here.

I want to say that the person that made my ice cream cake in your 7th Avenue store on august 5th 2016 needs to learn how to make ice cream cake all over . We ordered a cake on august 4 for the next day and when my husband went to get it she was just making it and said it was frozen enough her name is sitara seebachan made my birthday the worst I ever had getting a cake from haagen-dazs

Its Haagen Dazs ice cream it tastes exactly as it should, would have given it 4 stars because in terms of ice cream all the locations are pretty much the same but the service I received the last time I was there was great and therefore deserves all 5 stars. I havent had service that great in an ice cream shop almost ever. Check them out.

There the worst in service and horrible in making cakes my husband got me for my birthday a cake it was melted and the lady tryed to blame it on my husband not that she made it to late and thats why it melted i will tell everyone never go there
