What a great little coffee shop/neighborhood spot. Stumptown beans and a nice selection of food and beers. Because we are in Riverdale, kosher stuff and featured bites with lox and cream cheese but a hipster twist. Stuff here is artisanal, heirloom, heritage and handcrafted - easy to sneer at in Williamsburg or the Village but you miss it in long-since-gentrified, old age old money Riverdale. Nice to see a place that is young, conscious and chic, hope it signifies a turning point in a neighborhood that can be stodgy and stuffy.

Coffee was amazing, but it was all downhill from there. I cant believe I paid $14 for soggy bread and a greasy egg sandwich that fell apart from the moment I picked it up (and which had been recommended by my server). I sat outside and the man next to me started smoking, which was annoying enough until he pulled out a naggin of gin. At 9AM. Its not the Moss Cafes fault who comes to sit outside, but I would definitely only get coffee to go next time.

Food was fantastic!! We were a family of 6. everyone really loved their food. I had this egg sandwich with cabbage kraut and cheese. The other people loved their sweet and savory bowls and the salad. The only complaint was the gravlax toast. It was to small. The people who ordered it said it was very tasty, but they wouldnt order it again.

Hey fellow Riverdalians! We can finally have fine coffee on Johnson. As far as espresso, first taste is sour and finishes strong with rich taste. It is a bit bitter for my favor but still better than giving you a burnt taste like Starbucks. Worth checking out! Cannot wait to try other drinks and sandwiches.

The absolute best coffee EVER. They hosts make sure you are taken care of!!! They are sweet and amazing. The place is super cute and cozy and roomy and most of all SUPER CLEAN. AND DID I MENTION THE COFFEE IS AMAZING!!!!! Their honey butter bisquits are to die for!!!

One of my favorite cafes in the Bronx. This Riverdale kosher shop serves healthy and hearty meals for the health conscious. Great coffee and tea selection, tasty pastries and staff is very friendly. Is a bit on the pricier side.
