Overpriced and burnt for okay pizza. I was driving through the Arthur Ave area and decided I needed to try good pizza from there. Googling up "best pizza Arthur ave came up with this place". I stopped by to try a regular slice and an grandma slice for $7.25. I wasnt impressed. Especially not for that price. Theres better local pizza in Manhattan (Patsy on 117/1st) Brooklyn (My Little Pizzeria on Court St has a solid fresh mozz slice) They sell by the slice which isnt available at the REALLY good places like (DiFaras, Totonnos, Grimaldis, etc). The size is generous. The crust was thin and crisp (good) its sprinkled with lots of bread crumbs (good if you like that texture) but the grandma slice was VERY burnt (no good). The sauce was also burnt and acidic. Taste is obviously subjective and acidic might be something people like but it didnt taste good to my palette. The cheese was plentiful on the regular slice but very scarce on the grandma slice (25-30% coverage). So the grandma slice had an overwhelming burnt acidic sauce in every bite. Maybe this was an off day for them and I shouldve gotten their rolls (which looked fresher). Why pizza looked like it sat (still cheese) around at 2pm I dont know. If so many people swear by it.. maybe they have a hidden gem somewhere that I missed (e.g. Spumoni Gardens pizza isnt that great to me but their sit down dinner was nice). I might try them again, probably not though.

One star is too much! This place is DISGUSTING. The Pizza is TERRIBLE. I got. "Chicken Parm" slice and had to force myself to even eat half of it. They charged me $6!!! (Anyone who knows the Bronx knows you can get a delicious sllce for no more than $3, even with toppings, anywhere else.) The cheese was some kind of cheddar with NO MOZZARELLA at all. The chicken was diced--NASTY and who ever heard of diced chicken!?!--they probably did this to save cooking time. The crust was like a tasteless saltine cracker--anyone who knows Pizza knows that a good Italian crust is crispy on outside, soft on the inside and TASTY, never bland. They are RUDE and the place is DIRTY. Classic TOURIST TRAP- DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

Very good, huge, thin slice pizza. A slice here is the size of your head, or two normal pizza slices, whichever is bigger. The pizza is good, and the quick fry in the oven for slices makes for a great crispy crust, but both the buffalo chicken and grandmas pie lacked a little oomph in the flavor profile. The parmesan cheese and peppers helped. Service was what youd expect from a Bronx pizza joint, what you wanna fight about it? Beer selection was... Sad. Warm Torst, the Busch to Peronis Bud Light, actually went well with the pizza but geez.

I dont know whats going on but i just now had a chicken parm hero and the chicken tasted suspect. Chewy, like raw but i examine it and dont look real, it looked like imitation texture. I told the guy but he looked at me funny so when sat back he started like laughed it up like i was joking. Not good cause i am giving it a bad review but he ignored my complaint as a joke. Guess what just lost a customer who knows how many more. I spent 15.90 times that by 10 visits thats 150.00 bucks Gone....

Too bad I didnt have the opportunity to taste the pizza or chicken parm I wanted to try. Customer service was horrible. The manager/owner was rude to his staff as well as the customers. If politeness and courtesy is important when you dine, than I would stay clear of this eatery. Especially if youre of the African American persuasion!!! Ill eat at McDonalds like the owner suggested.

I came here for dinner after going to the New York Botanical Garden. We ordered a slice of pizza and a meatball sub. The portions were much larger than other Italian places in NYC. The pizza slice was huge and they were really generous with the meatballs on the sub. The food was tasty and fresh. I would come back again if Ive ever in the neighborhood.

Ci sono stato nel 2012. Buona soluzione per un pasto veloce! La pizza è a tranci di vari gusti. Personale italo americano, gentile ed educato.

I go here every Saturday with my dad and Ive been doing it for like 14 years now. I know some of the guys who make the pizza and they are spectacular while the boss is our pal as he has always been! The only wish was that they stop raising the prices every few years as it stands right now at 3.25.

Arguably the best slice in nyc. Im from Staten Island and had them all . This Bronx hidden treasure has it all from amazing pizza to a very polite staff to the old Italian couple in the corner arguing over something from 40 years ago. A must go !!!

A bit overpriced but the pizza is good. They serve authentic Italian pizza as well as The staples like calzones, and garlic knots. The place is clean and its a real pizza shop. Only wish they sold zeppoles. Not Dominos or Papa Johns but better.

Their white pizza is the best I have ever had. Every time I go I say Im going to get something different, but I always end up getting a slice of white. When friends visit and they want pizza, we take them to Full Moon.

Nice pizza. I got a grilled vegetable pizza slice. The crust was thin and crispy. The vegetables were nicely grilled. Sauce and cheese were on point. Slices were pretty large. Pizza was a little pricey though.

The Pizza is amazing. The taste is unique and the dough is crispy. I recommend the regular slice. Once you start adding toppings or specialized pizzas, the prices could rack up.

Lmao idk why people are giving this place good reviews no offense but pizza oily and broccoli/spinach roll was bitter .. The chicken roll with eggplant tastes old

Really a nothing special place. Burned garlic knots, fixed chicken parm on a slice that had more crumbs than chicken. Not the traditional Arthur avenue quality.

A bit overprice compared to our pizza shops around the neighborhood but the price is worth it, the pizza is amazing and I love the crust nice and crunchy

Ok pizza. Because of the reviews I went to try it. Not really any better than the pizza around my way. Guess its ok for area pizza.
