Excellent food in a casual, relaxed dining experience. Five different dining options: formal dining indoors or out, casual pub dining indoors or on the deck right on the river, or either menu in the upstairs pub. Ive never been disappointed with anything Ive gotten here. This last time, I had a veal rib on a bed of fingerling potatoes and asparagus topped with fresh microgreens direct from the farmers market that morning! That and a pint of a local craft brewerys finest IPA set me back a total of $35. The bartender, however, earned herself a large tip by her diligent and attentive service, without hovering. Best restaurant in BVille!!! Thanks to Lauren the bartender and Al, the chef and creator of the restaurant.

Jake (host/server) was friendly and quite attentive. My dad and I decided to try this restaurant out for lunch. Our food arrived promptly, but my turkey club had a hair in it. I informed jake, he took the plate and had the sandwich remade. My disapproval is that the mistake on the kitchens behalf was not reflected on our bill. For an establishment recently opening for lunch, one would assume theyd prefer to have their customers return. We will not. The food was good, but the management should have acknowledged the mistake by reflecting it in a discount of the sandwich.

Terrible all around. Ordered the salmon salad, arrived lukewarm, which is immediately alarming whether it was supposed to be hot or cold. Moved the salmon to the side to eat the greens, and he entire center of the salad was rotten. Absolutely brown, slimy lettuce, that had to have been intentionally placed there and covered. Hate to be cynical, but it was too well hidden and centered. The manager said "sorry the salad wasnt to your standards," as if rotten food is to anyones standards.

Went to dinner for the first time last night. We sat in The Pub downstairs. Very busy night considering the Holiday however they were extremely understaffed. The food was alright but when you wait so long your just happy when it finally comes. In total we were there an hour and a half. Way too long for 2 burgers and a pizza. No apologies or managers present at any time. We will not be back to this establiment.

I stopped in for lunch and was greated warmly by the bartender. She was engaging, helpful with the menu and could carry a conversation well which is always nice. I ended up getting the lobster roll which was a pretty large portion for a lobster roll at their price. I would get it again but it seemed like it needed one more light ingredient to bring it all together.

Two stars because the location is great. Only good food we had was the little neck steamers. Sauce on the wings was too sweet. 12$ salad was wilted and soggy. Draught beer was 5.50$?? Service is slow, not welcoming, awkward. Kitchen service is slow, but maybe the waitresses are to blame. Very poor customer service. Not impressed. Ill make my own steamers and save 50$.

My family called last minute as we had a change of plans for Easter. River Grill accommodated us on short notice and it was much appreciated. Our server was very friendly. The food took a bit longer then expected (in excess of one hour) But everyones dish was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious!! Thanks to River Grill for the perfect Easter lunch!!

Horrible! Went to just have a nice cocktail. Took bartender 30 minutes to make 2 Manhattans. Kept filling other orders while she kept saying they were looking for ingredients. Then when we got them, not very good especially since they changed us $25 for 2 very badly made drinks. No problem, not ever going back!

Sat there with only a few customers,,waited 15 minutes for a waitress, ordered , fries were cold ,when they arrived and the chicken fingers were ,so overcooked, and hard,that we only could eat one ,out of the 3 they served, Was not happy with this place, and dont think I would return

They are definately up to par on their wide variety of modern beer selections. In my opinion, they dont receive the amount of customers they deserve, due to their location. Closer to a busier college area would be more beneficial.

Nice to sit next to the water, and the space is nice, but the parking situation is weird (passive aggressive signs blaming the neighbors) and the menu is limited (not much for my vegetarian friend). Food was ok.
