This place is seriously overrated. The name itself implies grandiosity. Dont believe the hype. When I ordered a turkey sandwich with mustard the guy gave me a lot of attitude. I have no idea why. It is a free country and I loath mayonnaise. It was a reasonable request and they still put mayo on my sandwich. They also have a problem with customers who want ketchup on a roast beef sandwich. They screw up a lot of orders. Their prices are high. And the snobs who work there act as if they invented the sandwich.

I ordered food to be delivered to a fellow employee recovering from breast cancer surgery. Not only were the employees polite and accommodating, but the delivery man went above and beyond when faced with an empty house. He secured the food safely and promptly called me with the location of the food. My friend and her family enjoyed the sandwiches immensely. I highly recommend the Preakness Deli.
