I moved here in July 2013, had Chinese food once since then (not here), and it was horrible, as was the local Indian food (which we threw $75. worth of takeout in the trash). Im used to the quality that you get in NY I guess. Hungry, and with low expectations (and fingers crossed), I decided to try out this restaurant for delivery, regardless of the one horrible review. Theres always a grouch looking to poop the party after all. The several good reviews seem genuine, but I hold restaurant food to a higher standard than most, so I still cant go by them so much. I ordered online, which is great! I was just concerned that I tipped ahead of the delivery. The delivery time stated 7:13 or 7:17 or something like that. I dont remember exactly. I guess I completed the order around 6:30. they arrived early at 7:08, which is more than reasonable. The driver was very friendly and courteous. The food was pretty good. I enjoyed it, filled way up without getting turned off after a while, and felt satisfied. I do however have a pet peeve, which is that restaurants in general do not pay attention to the fact that many, many children have issues and are very picky about their food, and will not eat it if it has "black stuff." Restaurants should always pay attention to not leaving burn marks or odd stuff in food that is generally ordered for children. I suggest that if you are ordering plain LoMein for a picky child, you request it without pieces of garlic and burn marks (they tasted normal though). In summary, I got a good amount of good food for a great price (egg roll, soup, Plain Lo Mein, Moo Shoo Pork, tax & tip for $21.). I will commend the very good Moo Shoo in particular for maintaining a freshness to the vegetables, and not being overly sauced/salted. The LoMein & Soup were good, and the Egg Roll borderline. Its not the Egg Roll that you crave, and is a bit mushy inside. I do believe the reviews that this might be the best in the area, and Im left with no desire to shop around.

Went here for the first time after reading all the glowing reviews. Maybe I went to a different restaurant than all those people or maybe the reviews were bogus. We got there and the heat was on very low, the staff were running around in winter jackets. The nice part of the dining area was dark and the area where we were seated had no table cloths. We ordered what sounded good on the menu but the food we finally received after a long wait was horrible! The butterfly shrimp was not as described (batter dipped and fried butterflied shrimp with veggies and and a brown sauce). It was so strange looking when we received it I had to ask the waiter if we got the wrong order. It wasnt the wrong order. It was a shapeless mess of egg surrounding shrimp with the tails still on so you got to bite down on the tail scales and shells if you werent careful. The batter was a tasteless blob of gloppy goo. The other dish ordered, Subgum Wor Bar, had some gooey messy batter dipped seafood in it. Altogether, the meal was a big disappointment, tasteless, almost inedible. When we were finished, the waiter asked if we wanted to take the leftovers home. I said, uh-no. I would not recommend this restaurant.

I was new to the neighborhood and I normally love Chinese food. I had tried a number of places before trying this one and each was a disappointment in some way. As a result, my expectations for this place were pretty low when I first arrived. Well... I was in for a surprise: First of all, the food was and is excellent and the portions were plentiful. We have gone there many times since and have never been disappointed. Second, the service was FRIENDLY and the waiter spoke an understandable English. The servings are so large that you can seldom finish your meal. As a result, everyone I go with normally requests a "doggie bag" to take home. Believe me, this stuff didnt just sit in the fridge for a couple of days and get tossed. Its eaten quickly - normally the next day and tastes just as good as when first served. Hey, whats not to like; good food, great service and reasonable prices too. Go there, you wont be disappointed.

Ordered food and an hour and a half go by and no calls or information from the restaurant. I decide to call them to find out where my food is and they tell me the driver has been calling me, which they had not been. Very disappointed that I had to wait the better part of two hours for food, and when I called to find out where it is they give me the ring around like its my fault. They even repeated the address to me twice and recited my phone number back to call me. Have never eaten here and certainly wont ever with this service.

This is honestly the best Chinese food I ever had. The hunan chicken was delicious. I love Chinese food but I was seriously thinking about giving up eating Chinese all together because everywhere I tried in the toms river area have been bad experiences. Thank god for Peking. I will make this 20 minute drive to get it everytime because its that amazing.

Excellent service. Meals come with tea which you may think isnt that important but it adds so much to the overall meal. The quality of food is great. The staff is friendly and are wonderful people. This is our third year visiting seaside heights and we always make sure to have a meal here.

I just moved here a few months ago. It is the best chinese food I have had since I was in new york. Delivery is quick and they are honest. I accidently gave him a 50 instead of a 20 and the driver came back and returned the money. Great food. I will have to go for a dinner soon SL

Walked in with good expectations. First off the service was excellent. The wonton and tea were very good. Chicken in the garlic sauce was a little tough. Sauce was okay. General tso sauce was okay as well but the cuts of the chicken were less than expected, and the fried rice was bland.

Great place to eat. All fresh. Cant remember the last time Ive had a bad meal there. Better then most in town. Take out also and they deliver in a reasonable amount of time. And with all that, their prices are slightly better then around town.

food came a hour and a half late. I called back a guy said oh yes on way. After 30 mins I called again was told 10 mins. food was bland seemed rush to get out to us . Will never order here again

Its a nice atmosphere, and the owners are very nice. The food tasted great, and the serving size was just right! It was hot, fresh, and a good texture. I highly recommend eating here!
