Hometown Food Mart & Deli is more than just your average convience store/deli, and theres 2 reasons for it. Their names are Dee and Bobbi. My very first time walking into the store I was pleasantly greeted with huge smiles and welcomes. I was so surprised to experience such friendly customer service. Its not too often you walk into a store now in days and get greeted like you are a neighbor. Dee and Bobbi truly changed my mind that there are still nice people out there who truly want to spread joy and happiness, not just make money. Also, Dee makes a mean porkroll sandwich. Cant beat it.

Every time I come here everyone is so friendly. I love the food. They always ask how I am always smile and they make my day better when I visit. I make it a point to stop by every single day even if its just to get a pack of smokes. They are nice to my children and make them feel like they are at home. I recommend stopping by and checking them out. Im moving and Im still going to come out of my way just to come back and give them my business. Wonderful people and an amazing store!!!!

Hometown deli and market is the market of all markets , The owners are more than friendly and they have the best breakfast sandwich called the Hometown Special for 5.99,,,, very reasonable,,, and once again extremely friendly staff,,, I will continue to patronize this Business when Im in the area without a doubt. Love Hometown Food Mart!! Really nice, clean well maintained store with three of the nicest people running the place!! Charlie, Bhavi and Dixit remember your name, your favorite lottery scratch-off tickets, and really care about how youre doing.....havent had a chance to try to sandwiches yet but I hear the cheesesteaks are the best around.....this store is very highly recommended!!!

Absolutely the best. This place is clean friendly and ready to serve the best sandwiches in New Jersey. Their Pork roll sandwich is by far the best at the Jersey Shore and blows away the Allenwood General Store. These people are awesome, the food is great and the establishment super clean. Just give it a shot and you wont be dissapointed.

Im new to Toms River and Hometown has become a quick favorite of mine. The employees are always smiling, friendly, makong conversation with patrons, and most importantly they remember who you are!! Also, the deli is delicious. Their breakfast sandwiches are my favorite!
