I always have a positive experience at Chipotle but today, Alex working as cashier and the young lady next to him made it a life-giving moment. There I was, prepared to pay for my order, when I noticed I had left my purse at home. Embarrassing!! I did not know what to do. The woman next to me kindly offered to pay for my meal, when Alex stepped up and said, "No, I will pay for your meal!" What? And yet, his insistence was so sincere, so kind, there was something special about him. Its as though he loved his job and truly wanted to be sure he served Chipotles customers. I thanked him and hurried home to get my money and returned to pay for my meal. Alex seemed surprised to see me. I have been to a lot of restaurants, even a lot of Chipotles. There is something super special about an employee who knows how to step up and make my experience extraordinary. It was my fault that I left my wallet and Alex saved the day. Its people like Alex that make Chipotle great and now Im a fan for life. Thank you Alex. Thank you Chipotle. Nothing beats outstanding customer service!!

Working in the food industry for over 7 years, I never write negative reviews but I think this location could really use some improvement in many areas. I absolutely love chipotle, however was really disappointed with my experience tonight :/ I had asked for a bowl and my rice was scraped at the bottom of the pan and barely filled the bowl. I let it slide and figured Id just pile on some chicken. However, my chicken was also scraped from the very bottom in a very small portion size. I watched as a young lady asked for more chicken to which someone in the kitchen just brushed her off. When it was time for toppings, they disregarded what I asked for. The gentleman at the cashier was extremely dismissive and proceeded to drop my bowl on its side in the bag. I left feeling ultra disappointed and to me, it just did not feel like Chipotle standards. Customer experience is everything and I could not believe that I was getting the worst from my faveorite restaurant! I will definitely not be visiting this location, however I hope their team can seek some improvement!

BEWARE when eating at this location. I purchased a chicken bowl on Wednesday Feb 10 around 7pm and 15 mins after eating it I got food poisoning. The symptoms started that night and got worst overnight. Called my doctor the very next day for an emergency appointment and he confirmed it was a serious case of food poisoning. I contacted corporate and have yet to receive a call back or contacted by their customer service. This will be my last time eating at ANY Chipotle as Ive lost all my trust in their so called fresh ingredients and food safety preparation propaganda. I will not be recommending Chipotle to ANYONE.

The young staff at the S. Plainfield, NJ location is the most rude Ive ever seen. They rush your order, do NOT listen, get attitudes and often throw your food in what or the receipt at you. Ive patronized other locations and never had the horrible service I get here at other places, so its not the brand, its this terrible location in particular. I will start driving out of the way when I want Chipotle, which is a shame because this one is convenient for me but I literally HATE going there! Avoid this location at all costs! Worth the drive to go elsewhere!

Came in at 9:55 pm starving after a night of work there was a rather long line and a employee came up to me and said sorry we are closed with about 12 people on the line ordering for as well as another dozen sitting down. This is unacceptable when your closing time says ten and other people are on line still being served food. It was very clear the employees were just trying to get out as fast as possible on a Friday night : I will also be reporting to corporate offices as this has never happened at any chipotle I have been to in my entire life.

There may be some truth to the last reviewers comment on the chicken. My wife got the chicken and said she wouldnt get it again, but neither of us have had the chicken before so we cant compare. Like usual I got the vegetarian and it rocked! The staff was not as up-beat as other Chipotles as Ive been to. I liked the layout of the place. The tables were a bit longer than average so you could have a larger party or share a table with strangers, which is always cool. The music in the place was quiet, for whatever thats worth.

I wish I could give these jokers who works here no star. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and waited over 30 minutes. I finally went up to the chashier and she asked one of her fellow workmate, they discovered that it was over cooked, she told him to make another one. I was kind enough to wait again, but then found out that it was for someone else. I got angry and walked out. I do not recommend this place. Very bad customer service, they dont care about customers and are very unprofessional. It was my first and last visit.

I found hair in my guacamole. I would post a picture if I could have included it.Im to disturbed to even want a new bowl. it looked like a pubic hair to be really honest . I left a review only because I didnt want to drive back to get another bowl, if it was so clean how did I find hair in the first place ....instead of my money I left a review I defiantly dont want the food. All these one star reviews arent for no reason chipotle do better !!!

Never calling in an order again, first time I call, girl puts me on hold for 5 minutes. I hang up and call again the SAME GIRL takes my order right away. No chicken (which I asked for) but got lettuce (which I DIDNT ask for). Its really not that complicated but I guess good help is impossible to find these days.......seriously annoyed. Chipotle may want to focus more on customer service these days.

I like going to this location because it is usually less crowded than the location at Menlo Mall. It seems that many Chipotle locations are less crowded after the virus thing, but that just makes my life easier. I am a loyal customer and will continue to be one because their food is great the people are always nice.

I ordered two chicken chipotle bowls today , every time I order I dont have any problems but today Rice in the bowl was not cooked at all . My kids couldnt eat . I was trying to call them they were putting me on hold and no one was answering . Very bad experience and feel bad for my kids as the love chipotle .

Best Chipotle restaurant! Fast, organic! Yes recommended, but the only issue is that the menu is, as well as other Chipotle restaurants, is the same menu! So when asking for a burrito or bowl it is the same meat or combo of meats and same ingredients. Over time you get sorry of bored. Still a great choice!

Well what to say about today evenings visit. I went there to pick up two bowls and chips with guawk. Once I come back home I see that food is stale and rotten. Chips are uncooked. They didnt have any dispensers to carry out any of the hot sauces. This is not the chipotle that I used to love.
