Ive frequented this place quite often. The food is excellent HOWEVER, the service is terrible. The waitresses are slow, at times will just watch you stand around before asking if they can help. Today the manager tried to overcharge me. I always order one of two things and 90% of the time with a debit card. The manager came out and told me they had a minimum for debit/credit cards. I told him as much as I come here no one has ever told me that, basically he got rude and called me a liar, so I called the customer service to my card so he can hear transactions with this restaurant where Ive used my card at this point he didnt want to hear them and charged my card only .50 extra. What a terrible experience especially for someone who is not a first time customer. I will not be going back and informed customer service to block any future transactions after today because the manager seemed untrustworthy at this point.

ATENCCION !!!Si la comida muy Rica pero hoy domimingo 6/4/17 fuimos a Comer 4 personas y nos estaban cobrando lo Doble cuando enfrentè ala mesera no sabia k decir creo k ACEN esto con Muchos clientes espero k los dueños tomen encuenta estos echos me estaban cobrando $86 dollars EXTRA Recomiendo k rebicen su recibo OJO.

By far the best authentic Mexican restaurant you will find anywhere in New Jersey. Ive been there literally hundreds of times and I have never had a single bad experience. The decorations are really well done and make you feel like you are eating out in Mexico. The food is delicious and the portions are huge and very reasonably priced. It was recently renovated a couple of months ago and it looks better than ever. Dont waste your time and money looking for a better Mexican restaurant because you wont find one. 5 stars!!!

Mis Amigos is clean, our waitress (with glasses) was super friendly and had good suggestions as we are unfamiliar with Mexican fare. I had a very good chorizo burrito and my husband the T-bone with Grilled Shrimp, also good, from the Daily Specials menu. Food presentation was a treat and the condiments excellent especially the green salsa made with a bit of avocado. Go on a Sunday (free street parking) and have an early dinner in advance of the dinner crowd. We will definitely return. BTW, the bathroom is also decent!

The food was tasteless! This was my second time there and the service was so slow again. The owners of this resturant should be Ashamed their resturant is dirty and unprofessional! Ordered ceviche and got 3 crackers with it and I got 2 tacos and I got a tiny slice of lime with it, when asked for more. I was charged for both extra crackers and 4 tiny extra limes. Its not the principle of charging for extras but a principle of them being cheap about it. Specially after being brought to their attention.

Authentic Mexican food in such a wonderful setting. I have been to this place about 3 times and have always chosen to sit outside. Not because there is anything wrong with the outside, but it is just a really great area to sit outside and eat. Why not 5 stars? because they food need just a tad bit more seasoning. But even with the way it was prepared, it is still 4 stars. PRICE is amazing too. $2 authentic tacos.

Ive been eating at this restaurant since it was a two table facility. The food is amazing, the price even better. Hosts, waitresses, and kitchen personell are all very friendly and courteous. The fact that you can BYOB and they offer cups and lemons is a great thing. Lots of visual improvements to make it feel more "mexican". I highly recommend this place for good food for a great price.

I have been going to Mis Amigos for over ten years the place is some the best Mexican food I have had in this country. The dishes are different and very well made. Everything is fresh and the service is great. Over all this has been a family favorite for many years and is a little secret most in Dunellen are aware of.

The food is pretty good. Authentic Mexican food. I like the way they double up the corn tortillas on the tacos and the sauce that comes with it, its pretty good. They use cheap meat on the carne asada. Its thin and doesnt have a lot of flavors. Their chicken flautas is good, but needs more cheese.

My husband and I ordered take out for the first time tonight. We ordered beef burrito, chicken burrito, taquitos, and the ceveche. EXCELLENT! They did forget something in our order but I only waited 5-10 minutes extra. Nice decor and the staff was friendly.

If you love authentic Mexican food this is the place to go great service if you want to experience a little bit of mariachi check out these place on a Thursdays somewhere between 4:00 and 8:00 pm you will have a great time you will not be disappointed.

We call Mis Amigos for delivery at work every week or so. The food is SO GOOD. Weve tried tacos, burritos, and salads. All yummy, and very reasonable prices. Highy recommend!
