Ive been going to Basilicos since they opened and have been going to SIC my entire life. I can honestly say this is the best restaurant on the island, and one of the best down the Jersey Shore among all of the shore towns. I would also consider myself a pizza connoisseur and have tasted pizza all over the coast and jersey shore, and Basilicos has been and remains my favorite pizza place. The food at the restaurant is excellent; I promise you will not be disappointed. The food is homemade and made from scratch. The owners and cooks take so much pride in the food they serve and the experience they offer customers. The service is also fantastic. Also, the owners are both so nice and are good people. They are passionate, love what they do, and thankful for each customer that passes through the door. I cant say enough good things about Basilicos. If you are in SIC, or down the shore, you need to visit Basilicos. Once you go once, you will understand. A trip to the shore isnt truly a trip without a visit or take out from Basilicos!

This was my first experience at Basillicos and I will definitely be back!. The service was very quick and attentive. My server also helped me with all my questions with the menu. The bread was fresh and warm. It came with the best dipping oil, I have ever tasted. With capers and garlic. Then came the salad. The lettuce was fresh with a mix of greens and other veggies. The homemade dressing was amazing. My chicken and pasta dish, which came with homemade pasta, was one of the best Italian dishes I have ever eaten. It was very flavorable and the portion size, was very generous as I am delighted to have bought home left overs. If you never have eaten here, you must try it. The food is simply amazing!

After seeing the really good reviews I decided that this would be a good place for my boyfriend and I to go to dinner. The pizza was worse than a frozen box of Ellios, and after ordering the $36 dollar special, Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes served over Capellini in a Lobster Bisque sauce, I was expecting a big plate for that high price but instead I was given a small amount of pasta and 2 small crab cakes. It was overpriced and not very good. The crab tasted a little funny and there was barely any lobster bisque sauce. When I arrived home I immediately got sick. Thank you for the $60 worth of food poisoning! I will never go back and do not recommend it to anyone.

Read past reviews and decided to take my family of six for dinner here. The food was over priced and mediocre to say the most. The bread and oil was the best feature until our second basket had an ant enjoying the bread too! The service had much to be desired aside from the busboy who was friendly and more attentive then our waitress. Do not recommend for dinner entrees maybe salad and pizza.

Great Italian restaurant with a broad selection of dishes. Their homemade house salad dressing is so good you can buy it bottled to take home. Nice atmosphere inside and the wait staff is always friendly. Can be busy during the summer season so reservations are recommended. Also great for takeout, pizza or otherwise. Open year round with limited winter hours. BYOB.

Wonderful...make reservations and u wont be disappointed. 2 suggestions though.. 1. Dont have McCormicks salt and pepper. 2. Dont serve ur delicious Cesar dressing in washed out mayonnaise containers. The food was so good Im still eating the left overs two days later... stop there of u go to Sea Isle

Great restaurant to visit in person. Food made fresh and its delicious. Not the best experience ordering for pickup. The order was way off and their willingness to fix the issue want impressive. Well visit again to dine-in but skip the pickup service.

Had a party of 9. They wouldnt Let 1 person order something off the dinner menu (cheesesteak) because served in the dining room. That person couldnt eat. Wouldnt return due to the fact that they didnt care that a patron sat there and couldnt eat.

Rude to those who arent locals. Hostess made us wait for 5 minutes while she sat on the phone. Restaurant was half empty and she told us the wait was an hour and a half! Guy making pizza noticed how rude she was...
