WARNING TO VEGETARIANS AND VEGANS This place is not vegetarian friendly. There are veg options, sure, but not once, but twice Ive had meat in a completely non meat dish. The first time I got a pancetta salad which if you dont know has big bread croutons in it. They dont look unlike little chunks of chicken. So imagine my surprise that I ended up with multiple pieces of rogue chicken in my salad, one that made its way to my mouth before I realized. There isnt even meat on it on the menu. I must conclude that they are mixing salads in the same bowls and not cleaning them in between. This was not enough to deter me, as I went back again and ordered an apple baguette sandwich that comes with a side salad. And on my plate there were- AGAIN if you can believe it- chunks of some type of red meat that looked to me like roast beef or something. Mixed in AGAIN with a completely vegetarian dish. Thats it for me. No more &grain. Great food but I cant imagine what goes on in the prep area if Ive had the same meat contamination issue TWICE. It may not seem like a big deal to some but I know to others including myself accidentally ingesting meat for moral or religious reasons just isnt a risk theyre willing to take. Theres no way I could recommend this place.

The decor here is a really cool fusion of industrial, rustic and modern. I personally enjoy the simplicity of the design more than anything. Atmosphere, especially in a coffee shop, is important to me. I drink my coffee black and will say the Stumptown roasts they use are above average. Never bitter. Always seems like a fresh brew. Ive had some of their baked goods and theyre delicious. Chocolate muffins, chocolate rolls and the chocolate peanut butter roll were all fresh, soft, chewy and moist. Im looking forward to bringing home a loaf of their 5 Grain bread as everything is baked in house. There is ample seating and Ive always had an outlet available to charge my phone or laptop. Can get busy during lunch hours. Staff is friendly, but there is room for improvement at the customer service level (nothing bad here; I just have very high standards). Overall, Im pleased to come in regularly and enjoy the atmosphere and a good cup of coffee.

If you really miss the hipster feeling while youre stuck out in the suburbs, this is the place for you. I went there to try their nitro cold brew, which was pricey, but really was an excellent glass of iced coffee. Between the cold brew process and the nitro, it was smooth and barely acidic at all. The hot breakfast was good, though we didnt pick up any bread to go, so I can only speak for the menu options.

Very nice bakery with delicious food and beverages. Had a couple of apple pastries and they were very good. Kinda wished I was more hungry since the breads and other goodies looked tasty too! The owner came over and spoke to me and some friends who are all electric vehicle drivers. Nice guy, hoping to power his electric oven on solar if the building management will allow it.

One of, if not the best morning/afternoon ambiances in the tristate. Solid food! For NJ, this is tops in the state. Utilizing one of the best (locally stationed) coffee roasters in the country (Stumptown Coffee Roasters, OR)...Pioneering the new wave of quality coffee shops and cafés! Rock on!

Best espresso drinks in the Garwood/Westfield/Cranford area by far. Cold brew is also great. Baked goods are excellent. Food menu is interesting and quality is above average. Pricing is a little high, but understandable given the quality and great service.

Highly recommended brunch place/cafe/coffee shop in Garwood. Ive had a couple of sandwiches (Ham & Brie and the Prime Rib are fantastic) and probably way too many croissants here - their croissants are really, really good. Their coffee is good too (Stumptown).

Everything is fresh and they carry Stumptown coffee! Ive tried almost all the sandwiches, and theyre all delicious. All the bread is crispy on the outside but soft in the middle - perfect. Get the nitro coffee!!!

Friendly staff, and the bread is amazing. I had the chicken pesto sandwich with roasted tomato and fresh mozzarella cheese with pesto sauce. It was delicious! Will definitely return!
