Top notch! Over the years, the Frenchtown Inn has had a very good reputation among reviews and diners, which is very well deserved. The food is first-rate, on par with any city place in either NY or Philadelphia and the atmosphere is a nice country setting with good service and friendly folks. The bar is a little plain, but that doesnt take away from the overall quality and selections of drinks and beer. You could sit there for just drinks, or order off the menu. One of the longtime favorites of many in the area for very good reason. Prices are on the upper end, but again, you get what you pay for. Worth a visit that will certainly bring you back!

Went there for Thanksgiving expecting an in house cooked traditional thanksgiving dinner. What we were served was a pre-proccessed meal with a large piece of proccessed turkey. Terrible. Very dissapointed especially after the long drive to get there. The place has a quaint atmosphere and the wait staff was good. Next time you serve this pre-proccessed garbage make sure to add another minute of heating time in the microwave. Then at least it will be hot when you serve it. This place is a waste of time and money. I will make sure to spread the word.

Nice restaurant situated next to the Delaware Water Gap. The food was great and served promptly. If you havent been to Frenchtown it is a *small* little town next to the Delaware Water Gap and maybe fifteen miles north of New Hope & Lambertville. With all the little shops and art galleries to visit, this restaurant is perhaps the nicest spot to eat at after a day of perusing all that Frenchtown has to offer. If youre visiting in the Spring or Summer, or even early Fall, its definitely worth getting a seat on the porch if its not too crowded.

Four of us had an excellent experience in the main dining room February 27. Among entrees sampled were rack of lamb, Chilean sea bass, filet of beef and a lobster/crab special served in the lobster shell. All of them were superb. They also have an extensive dessert menu which includes desserts, coffee drinks, cordials, martinis and single malts. Service was very professional and there was no pressure to get us out (we were there for two hours

Be prepared for surprises. Interrogate your waiter thoroughly! Example#1: Cold Cucumber Soup is cold and tasty, at first.....But the soup likes to get you hot, being spicy. Eeh. Example#2: Beer Battered SoftShell Crab Sandwich. Looks great, taste great until you encountered the actual softshell of the crab!!! Not easy to CHEW! UGH! Otherwise, atmosphere very pleasant with pleasant employees.....

Cuisine menu that is not pretentious and caters to every person and appetite. Unique variety of food and drinks. The food was absolutely delicious. Yes the downside was the price with expensive appetizers and desserts, but the meal as a whole makes it a good eventung out.so nice is great the waiters and waitresses work well together as a team.

We had reservations for Valentines Day last evening and we were so happy we chose Frenchtown Inn! Although it was the most weve spent on a meal for ourselves in a long time, it was worth every penny. Beautiful setting, incredibly fresh and interesting food combinations, and great service. Will definitely be back for our next special occasion.

when the owner remembers you - then you know youve arrived! the staff - while attentive - doesnt have the same memory - the food is good - very good - the setting still feels bare - unfinished - not cozy - but a good time for sure - incredible ribs among many delicious options

A lovely, historic room with terrific food. Service was unassuming but smooth and professional. The wine list wasnt terribly impressive but the prices are reasonable and youll be able to find something to complement your meal. Definitely worth a special trip.

The food was wonderful, nicely prepared with fast and very friendly service. We ate out on the balcony, beautiful river sunset in a town straight from a filmset. Could not have been any better!
