My girlfriend and I went to eat here tonight and have decided that they should rename this place the Grand $h!t Buffet. The sushi trays were empty and when asked if there was more coming out, the answer was "yeah...." then looked away like he couldnt be bothered. The fried foods looked like they were out there for days, the breading on the fried shrimp was hard as a rock. The hibachi chef looked miserable liked he hated his job. When we asked if there was anymore shrimp, he looked at us, and turned around and walked away. 2 minutes later he walks out of the kitchen with a big frozen bag of shrimp, throws it in the tray and said "Here." Once he brought the food to our table, it looked like cat food, the shrimp was hardly cooked-it was a total rush job. Now lets talk about the waiter. He hawked our table the entire time trying to shove soda down our throats. I could have drowned in a pool of soda for all that he wanted to give us! Then it was time for the check, he brought it to the table then stood right behind where I was sitting watching us count money. I got up to go to the front to pay the bill, He jumps in and says "Oh. You pay right here. I take up foh you." He brings back the change, slowly slides the money onto the table waiting for one of us to say keep it. My girl takes the change and again he is standing almost in our booth at this point, looking to see what kind of tip we were leaving him. HERES A TIP: SHUT DOWN YOUR DIRTY BUFFET!!!!

I was there for lunch with a friend on 2/3/2010. The variety and quality were fantastic. Start with one of 4 different soups (seafood is delicious), and several appetizers (fried wontons, boneless pork, peel and eat shrimp), and of course some sushi (california roles and several other varieties). The entrees - pick from traditional chinese, or seafood (salmon, snapper), oh so many to choose from. Everytthing I had was very good. They even have a section for kids and those who dont want anything fancy. Desserts (fruit, cookies) and ice cream. For $10 (incl. tax/tip) you just cant beat the place. And its clean, and the staff is courteous.

My girlfriend and I love Grand China Buffet, we are both food lovers (and are pretty fit people) so we appreciate what we eat. At the china buffet we know how to get the best bang for our buck and never feel ripped off. Its a buffet, it is what it is, and for a buffet it is one of the better dining experiences you will have. Tell me you get clams on the half shell or any crab legs for the same size and price at this buffet. If youre not satisfied with the freshness of the selection that they have just let someone know and they bring a new one out no questions asked. If youre not SUPER picky about what a buffet can offer than eat here.

They are terrible ... went there and one person from our party found hair in their food. When I went up to speak to the manager the answer was that it was not their hair!??! When I said that how can this be, they basically accused us and claimed that it could have been ours ... how rude are they!!! Only reason that Im giving them one star is because I had to at least give them one star in order to write this review basically they deserve zero stars ... if there was an option for -10 stars, thats what I would give them

Second time there last night after fishing with my friends. Asked for roasted duck from grill area, answer was "no", didnt even what to answer and giving you angry look because I asked for beef steak. People in the grill and sushi guess them do not want customers near come by them. We have been few Chinese buffet and this the only buffet you have to ask for sushi. Very uncomfortable while eating there, seems like being staring by every employees in the restaurant. Will not going back again.

Lots of choices, constantly refreshing what is on the line. Mongolian BBQ and even sushi included at no extra, Soups and salads are excellent, and you can always find several main course dishes that you will enjoy. Deserts nothing special but soft ice cream will keep the kids happy. Staff is friendly. If crowds are indication of value and quality, the waiting line (moves fast) on virtually any Sunday for lunch tells you this is the buffet to go to in Jersey Shore area.

Very good variety and almost everything is delicious. Dinner is pricey@ $17.99 per adult but you will leave Grand China Buffet full satisfied. It is not very clean and the booth seat show obvious signs of wear and tea. However, the customer service is highly satisfactory; we have brought infants and toddlers and the staff is very polite and accomodating.

HORRIBLE PLACE!!! Im sick today because my wife and I had dinner there last night. We are both vomiting all night from their food. I had very little to eat because the food was old and nasty and still we are both very sick with pain in our stomach and like I said before vomiting!!! Dont take your family here to eat because it is very very bad !!!

The food is of low quality and the service and staff here is just terrible. Staff is supposed to help and be kind to the customers...well, thats not the case here. It is hard to understand them at times and they are just plain out rude to the customers every time that Ive been here (4 times). Dont even get me started about the food...

This is the most horrible food I have ever eaten at a buffet. It is tasteless and greasy as well as being overpriced. I paid 11$ for 1 plate of food that I had to choke down in order to control my gag reflex.... dont waste your money here. Go to the Grand China Buffet in Freehold - 10 times better and so much more to choose from.

The food is hit and miss. When its fresh its great but things tend to sit around a bit past their prime. The crispy chicken in peanut sauce (not sure of the exact name) is really good and different. Went for the dinner and the bill for 2 people was over $40, thats a bit steep. Lunch prices are much more reasonable.

Im going to this place long time but last 3 time My family get sick we eat Sea food when we come back home we stomach pain and going to restroom I think Sea food not fresh Im going to call health department tomorrow if anyone have same problem call health department please we paying for good healthy food thanks

This place is the worst place I have eaten at ever. The food was terrible with the same after taste and they over priced our bill. I suggest not to go on a holiday they charge you more which is illegal. Also didnt get a fortune cookie . I already feel nauseous. Everything was just the worst.

This place was once a good spot to stop in with the food that was fresh. The staff seems to only want to get you in and out. Long wait for the crab legs. If you want fresh go to the grill but dont expect quality. It is expensive here for how much they charge per person, even for a 5 year old.
