I purchased 2 roast beef hoagies and 1 turkey hoagie and the total came to $35.00. I thought this price was OUTRAGEOUS! What made matters worse was the taste of the hoagies, they were horrible. I asked for oil and mayo and they were all dry. I also asked for salt, pepper and oregano and there was no oregano to be found. They basically gave me dry sandwiches on a torpedo roll. When I called to complain to the manager I was told that the manager was not in and they could not tell me when he would be in. I will never eat at this over priced deli again!!

I ordered a salami omelet one morning. The waiter misheard me and delivered a Spanish omelet instead. I dont know whats in a Spanish omelet; never ate one in my life. Yet, remarkably, the waiter argued with me, insisting that I had ordered a Spanish omelet. Ive placed Short Hills Deli on a one-year boycott for this clearly idiotic mishandling of the situation, and so far re-directed 27 clients and family members to the nearby Kibitz Room. I do hope management will address the obvious customer service issues at the restaurant...

The only reason they got one star was because the site would not accept a review without a rating. We cant rate the place because we arrived at 8:55 PM on Thursday Sept. 6th and were told by the employee on the cell phone standing outside the door that the place was closed. When we told him the website said it was open until 10:00, he said that it closed at 9:00 every night except Friday and Saturday. They need to rethink the website.They are misinforming people. We ate at Olgas diner, it was great!

I went for late lunch with a friend during the week so they werent busy. Everything was excellent. Our waitress was very helpful, and gave us what we needed before we even asked for it. The beef barley soup was good, slightly bland for my taste. My reuben sandwich was huge and excellent. My friend got a huge corned beef sandwich which which she loved. Yes, the prices are high but you do get a large amount of food. The bread was fresh rye just the way we liked it. We will definitely be back!

Gave this 5 stars because the food is very good. A very large menu. The mushroom soup and corned beef special was extremely tasty. There were three of us and we will be coming back. The service was very good. Our waitress was fast and she kept on filling my water glass like I requested. The entrees seem a little pricey, but when we return I will come for dinner and try a entree to see if the dinner is worth the price. All I know is the lunch was outstanding.

Nothing but decor has changed with the re-re grand opening! Loud, unprofessional owner still same, miserable servers & sub quality high priced food served next to carts of dirty dishes being pushed up & down aisles. Very disappointing

I go there all the time. One week, I think it was three times. Its probably my go-to diner right now. Its very fast service. The portions are big and the food is okay. Their matzah ball soup is good for when you have a cold.

Cabbage Borscht soup (dont let the name scare you), sweet potato fries, thick cut pastrami. Consistency is their only problem
