Terrible food. Very rude people and found a roach in my food. The male bartender is the rudest person i have ever met, he makes things up about some of the customers. I would have to say hes the only bartender who some of us know to be a drama queen. China garden, green ginger and china bistro are the places to go, they have very friendly people and do well to make your chinese food worth going for. The portions are much better at these other Chinese restaurants. I believe garg to be the rude bartender, I think alot of people would be rude if they found bugs in there food and didnt get there money back. I wasnt rude by the way until the bartender was rude and in appropriate to me. Furthermore i was treated terribly when i walked in with a person by the name of DANN Dawson who was telling everyone her ex husband had illegal dealings with shanghai concrete work and she also told some people that the bartender (Preston) was running drugs out of his fathers dealership. She decided to tell preston i said that stuff. I dont know these people and dont want too. If this is true what DAnn has said, its no wonder so many druggies hang out there. Like i said the foods gross and the people are rude and they over serve there alcohol. Laconia PD should be sitting there for DWI hunting. PD would be making alot of money for the state with that place. As far as shawn minor goes. Not a problem matic person there have only been there twice and im sure the bartender has put the drunks there up to bashing me dont really care. I would rather go to Naswa, patricks or Os no drama at these other places. if i want good chinese i will have it delivered. One guy even put my uncle Bud, Who owned the gulf at one point saying it was my uncles fault someone set herself on fire there. These drunks are messed up for sure and nothing but gossipers. This place is a dive. Grow up and tell the truth. Dumpster is right outside the kitchen at Shanghai by the way. No wonder they have bugs in the food and how come the pest truck is always there ???

So as I am laid up at home after surgery, I decided to place an order and have a friend pick it up for me. Although astonished at the price increases, I ordered an egg drop soup, followed with white rice, chicken fingers and beef teriyaki. I only eat these with hot mustard and specifically asked them to NOT forget the hot mustard! When my friend dropped it off and I paid her $16... It was then I discovered I had NO hot mustard! Thank you Shanghai for basically a bowl of soup for $16! You robbed me of my meal and as I cant drive, there is little I can do at this momemt! Its amazing with your menu prices, you cannot remember one, small simple request... one I was ademate about!

The food was real good, and the service was great. Very attentive staff. Hot tea comes with your meal automatically. The buffet has your standard Chinese buffet selections. The only thing holding it back from a five star review is that there are not more selections. All your standard selections are there - soups, lo mein, fried/white rice, and a variety of Chinese dishes. Real good, and the price was reasonable. I can definitely see myself going back.

Awesome food and drinks! Good buffet selection. We always order from the menu. Very fresh and yummy! Service is top notch. This person who reviewed a month ago (Joi Moore) was asked to leave because she rude and inappropriate. I was present at the time. This is the cleanest Chinese restaurant kitchen in the area. We come here several times a week!

Do NOT go here! Chow mein noodles look & taste like ramen noodles excessive salt too. Boneless spareribs tough to chew. Egg roll.. Crack in half you can hear crunchy skin hit plate.. Fried rice is lump white rice with brown sauce mixed in. Over priced too. I give it Negative 5 rating. I didnt listen to other bad reviews tried it anyway

We went in at 7:30 and they had no food out even though there open till 9:30 and they had already cash us out before we found out they had no food out, and we paid with card so it took 2 days to get back on our card and the would give us cash. So we had to change our plans for dinner. I will never eat there again, unsatisfied service

Good food and good booze. Pay no attention to the butthurt review posted by Joi Moore. I was there the night they refused to serve her. I regularly frequent this establishment and the service is top notch. Joi is a drama queen problematic customer who too regularly wore out her welcome. Good riddance.

Went here on a Sunday night. The buffet was terrible. No new food was brought out during the entire time we were there. The servers were also handling the food directly using their hands without wearing any gloves. Would not go again, at least not on a Sunday night.

I love this place staff is truly awesome and friendly. You must however arrive before 7:00 pm as buffett goes fast and the place does pack in almost all the time. Prices are moderste and a great place for the family as well.

Fantastic vegetarian general tsaos "chicken"! The only other place Ive had something similar was in Seattle, WA. This is better. Service is fine. Ive never had it, but the buffet is very popular.

1 - 4 times a month for 10 years. Love their buffet as well as menu. Shrimp w/ Ginger & Scallions, Orange Chicken & Beef w/ peapods are favorites. Buffet always fresh and with excellent choices.

The General Tsos veggie chicken was scrumptious, its been awhile that Ive had it so well prepared and the sauce seasoned so flavorfully. The scallion pancakes were nicely sized portions too!
