I really wanted to love Flight. Ive been a fan of their roasts since back when they were CQ Roasters. Im sure their coffee is still fantastic and they seam to care about the craft, offering pourover, siphon, etc. and recommending a prep method for each coffee they are serving. The environment is also wonderful and provides a great place to kick back and relax or bring some work to. However, as my other reviews of coffee shops probably give away, Im a big fan of espresso drinks and the is where Flight falls short for me. We tried several drinks: a valentines day special with grenadine (sort of an espresso Shirley Temple), a maple latte, and a regular latte. In all three drinks, it was near impossible to taste the espresso. It was so overpowered by the milk that it was impossible to discern any of the notes of the espresso until the drink cooled, at which point bitter notes started to show through, but not in a good way. I will say that the maple latte was very enjoyable, but not as a latte so much as a nice, sweet drink. The valentines drink was overly sweet, but fun and forgivable based on what it was. The real deal-breaker for me was the regular latte, though. For a place which roasts their own coffee and prides themselves on it, its sad that I cant taste what I can only imagine is wonderful espresso. If you like your drinks sweet and milky and barely tasting of coffee, youll enjoy Flight. If you like your drinks to be complex, layered and based upon a fine, flavorful espresso, stick with the coffee. Youll be happier.

This is my first 1-star review ever. Ive tried this place about a half dozen times because its super close but I regret going almost every time. This morning will be the last. Credit card machine was down so I had to pay cash (didnt trust how they were writing down customers CC info to charge later), my egg sandwich came out cold and on a plate even though I ordered to go, and then to top it off - I found a super long dark hair attached to the bottom of the bagel. In all seriousness, go check out 2 Home Cooks (a block away) or Earths Harvest (short 1.5m drive) for a much better experience.

Appears to be a newer building , spacious and nice. There appears to have only one (mixed) bathroom on the right side. The specialty coffees only come in 1 size like a latte with 2 shots and must pay for extra shots and it comes in a small cup. If its done to look hip, then it failed as the price for such coffee is darn expensive! The sandwiches are also on the pricey side. An in-store made bagel with cream cheese is $3.50 which Is Expensive. It has free wifi and a place where people also have meetings so its a decent place to hang out but expect to pay for it in higher menu prices.

Cant believe I havent reviewed yet! I frequently recommend Flight to anyone I know and purchase gift cards to give for special occasions. Flight had something for everyone, served by a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Breakfast and lunch, coffee or tea, as well as Kombucha and fresh baked goods (the BEST bagels). It quickly became the most important part of my morning routine and being greeted by name and offered my "usual", I certainly dont foresee that changing anytime soon!

Fair warning: the bagel recipe they use (to this date) resembles a cross between a bagel and an English muffin in texture and flavor. But, I love both of these things, so its not an issue for me. A nice, cozy take on the retro/vintage/industrial vibe places have been going for this decade. Clean furnishings, board games for groups, and very accommodating service.

I come through dover a couple times a year. The idea that someone could come here and say the coffee is bad is absurd. Most of the complaints have to do with technical issues or unprofessional baristas, but seriously? Welcome to any coffee shop anywhere. Flight is a welcome addition to the area, def give it a try if you are swinging through dover.

The donuts they sell are good (come from another bakery), but the chai latte was underwhelming, and the espresso undrinkable (bitter and sour). Its a nice space, but the barista serving us was a bit curt. Overall, not worth the high price of the beverages, there are better options in Dover.

Great coffee and vibe. Loved the ceiling and the wood tables with metal accents. The autumn harvest tea latte was amazing. Creamy deliciousness with cinnamon and nutmeg notes. Boyfriend got a nitro cold brew. Instant caffeine zing. Definitely check it out!

What to say? Great ambiance, great coffees, teas, beer, and kombucha for any taste. Changing seasonal menu with vegetarian options and great local hangout for community meetings, personal meetings, or lunch. Comfy seating and hand made furniture.

Location is perfect. Coffee is great. Ambience is brilliant. Food is mediocre...the avocado toast was soggy, watery, minimalist on the avocado and even worse on the chia seeds (they gave me just a single seed). You can do better flight people.

Beautiful coffee shop with plenty of seating. Smells like a roasting house with some options for healthy breakfasts. Board games on the table, multiple plants around the room, and a number of single sourced coffees.

Gives off that classic hippie coffee shop vibe. Some of the best coffee Ive ever had. They make great breads as well! My only complaint would be how pricey it can be. Still a great place for a cup of joe

One of my favourite hangouts in Dover. One half has long tables that are great for getting work done and the other half is a nice place to meet friends.

The coffee is terrible. if you dont like exactly what they tell you you should like, youre barely welcome. Very unaccommodating and rude to customers.

Its a little sterile (like they took a homey coffee shop, removed its charm and made it huge), but the coffee and pastries are very good.
