They are fairly new but very well established. For just opening not too long ago they are doing way better than some other BBQ places. My boyfriend and I have visited there often. Its always a good atmosphere to come to. Nice jazz or soft blues. Love it! We like the platters so we can get the meat with two sides because they are gooood!! We are both meat eaters so we know our meat. When its not cooked, baked, smoked, fried, or seasoned right. But let me say they hit every taste bud exactly right. Not to mention, my boyfriend is Very particular about the pork he eats but he loves Big Baby Qs smoked brisket! The meat does come without sauce. Unlike other restaurants where they "oversauce" your meat so that you dont see that the meat is burnt and tasteless. All the meats have their own smokey flavor taste that lets you know its REAL MEAT! This family owned establishment is totally worth 10 stars

I work near by and I go every week. The owners are fabulous, and their passion for BBQ shows. My favorites are the brisket (of course!), the pork steak, the collard greens and the banana pudding! If you like BBQ nachos...holy crap are they good too! Mere mortals cannot finish the nachos in 1 sitting. The ribs, pastrami, half chicken and smoked turkey are all amazing as well! Sometimes Ill call ahead when Im leaving work to see if they have anything left, and Ill take dinner home so we dont have to cook. One other note... to the person who commented a while back that the sandwich was false advertising... it sounds like you wanted to order the "Big Baby" sandwich but ordered one of the plain BBQ sandwiches instead. Ive had the Big Baby several times, and it is every bit as good as the pictures make it look. It is LOADED!!! Give it another try!

Horrible!! Was so disappointed in this place!! Sandwich that they show pictures of with coleslaw and sauce is false advertisement! Had the pulled pork sandwich on a stale cold bun. No sauce no coleslaw was on it nothing but unfavorable pork didnt even have a smoke flavor! No sauces on the 1 picnic table inside all you get is 1 TINY little plastic container of sauce that tasted like cheap bbq sauce from a bottle. My side was mac and cheese that was horrible. Ordered a side of potatoe salad for $2.50 that was so bad I threw it away. And dessert dont waste your money again! $4 for this littlt PAPER cup of banana pudding with 3 vanilla wafers on the side. Never again $19 for a lunch I threw most of it away!! At least they could have fresh bread!! Would not recommend this place ever!

I have visited here three times now, and Ill definitely be going back. I am not big on pastrami in general, but THIS pastrami I will eat, and plan on having again soon. I have also tried the brisket which I would not hesitate to recommend to everyone. The half chicken was amazing and so juicy. All the meat has been smoked to perfection. There are many sauce options, but dont walk away without trying the Alabama White. The banana pudding got devoured by the kids and theyre still asking for more. Its not really the kind of place to sit and eat, though there are two picnic tables if you can snag them. Great place to pick up food to go for the office or to take home.

Had the brisket and it was very good. Tried the spicy sauce and it was good...not too spicy but had a little bite. Had pasta salad and Mac and cheese as my sides. Liked the Mac and cheese but the pasta salad needed a little vinegar or something because it was not as full of taste as I like. Had banana pudding for dessert and it was good but I cant really say it was worth the $4 they charged for it. I would definitely go back for the brisket but would probably get it by the pound. Glad to have another place for bar b que in the Maryland Heights area.

You cant do much better. Everything smoked in house, all sauces, sides and desserts made in house without corn syrup (also a peanut free kitchen for those who share my allergy). Just an overall great experience from top to bottom. Food was great, the father/son team running the shop are two great guys that are nice and funny and are clearly passionate about what they do. Keep up the great work guys and heres to continued success. They cater as well and I will be using them for my next event. Nothing negative to say at all.

Awesome BBQ! The smoked turkey is our family favorite but the ribs have an excellent dry rub and the smoked wings are great. The beans and mac and cheese are amazing and their sauces, especially the Alabama White, should be bottled and sold on their own! We have been multiple times and will continue to enjoy. Ben and Benny are extremely welcoming and sincerely appreciative of your patronage-if you have not tried Big Baby yet, it is well worth the stop!

Always excellent BBQ, and the owner and his father are excellent people. I always highly recommend getting the fatty brisket, but even if thats not for you, all of the meats are excellent, as are all of the sides. They have a great selection of unique sauces, my favorite is the white, which adds a great zing to the meat. The meat is so good by itself, you dont really need sauce.

The food here blew my mind like a head on collision with a flavor train and the brakes just went out. The conductors are a father and son duo who work around the clock to bring the bbq that will de-rail any of your plans for a second rate cue place. If you want brisket or pastrami that dissolves like juicy butter on a hot piece of Texas toast, this is the place to be!!

Dont get me started on the mouthwatering and tender ribs. They give you a choice of sauces to try out and all of them are equally delicious with different earthy, sweet, and hot tang flavors. My favorite is their Sweet. Everything come hot and is prepared right in front of you. The kitchen and establishment is very clean, staff is very welcoming and nice!

This place is great. Lets start with the service. The employees are friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean inside and out. Onto the best part. The food. I had ribs and mac and cheese. The meat is great and the dry rub has awesome flavor almost felt guilty using sauce. The macaroni and cheese is awesome. Next time Im in the are Ill be back.

Every morning I drive past Big Baby Q and I can smell the smoke coming from the smoker. I finally had the chance to stop by before they closed. I purchased one pound of beef brisket. It was by far the best smoked brisket Ive had in St Louis. Its great that they are located in Maryland Heights!
