My wife and went here for an Anniversary dinner. First problem occurred when my food was brought out. The server who brought our food, not our server, was surprised that there were 2 people at the table. Our server came by a couple of minutes later and said my wifes food would be right up. About 10 minutes after that her food finally arrived. No apology or explanation. One can only conclude that her order was not put in. Since no manager ever came over I assume she did not tell them about her mistake. Next, we both had a chicken dish. The chicken was very bland and tasteless. The cut chicken pieces in my dish didnt even have any kind of sear marks on it from grilling. My wifes full piece of chicken did, but looked like the marks were applied only just before plating. The portions also were very small for the prices paid. Luckily for us we had gift cards that were given to us at Christmas so it cost us very little. Even less since the server tried to hide the fact that she screwed up, no tip. And I tip at least 15%, usually closer to 20%, a large majority of the time.

I recently ate at Bravo and received EXCELLENT service. The waiter was very knowledgeable and very attentive. The lobster bisque is a must! I ordered the crab cakes. VERY tastey and rich. My friend ordered the Bravo! pasta and thought it was wonderful. By the time we ate our meals we couldnt even think about dessert because we were so full. I enjoyed the food so much that I tried ordering take-out tonight. I called in the order, but you can also place one online. A very polite girl answered the phone and handled the order. They had our order ready in twenty minutes and they even offered extra bread. When we were on the way home however, we noticed that our dessert was missing from the bag. We called when we were just a few minutes down the road and they handled it very well. When we went back in they gave us our dessert for free and also 3 voucher cards for a free appetizer or dessert. Slip-ups happen, but they handled very well. I love Bravo and the service they give. (In case you work in the mall you should know that they offer a 20% discount, which is unheard of.)

In a city that has so many outstanding locally-owned restaurants, why would anyone want to go to a place like Bravo Cucina Italiana? I was there once shortly after it opened, and the service was very good, but the food was mediocre at best. If you insist on getting mediocre food from a chain restaurant, go to Olive Garden and pay a reasonable price for what you want. If you want good food, DONT go to Bravo Cucina Italiana. Not to mention that when they first opened their St. Louis location, they threatened a truly wonderful LOCALLY-OWNED restaurant that happened to be called Bravo into changing its name, costing the couple who had put their lives into growing their nice little Maplewood establishment thousands to essentially start over to regain the fine reputation they had worked so hard to establish. Not only does Bravo Cucina Italiana serve bad food at high prices, they also have no respect for the community in which they have chosen to set up shop. Bad food, bad neighbors. Very shabby, indeed.

The service was very good. The first round of drinks was great but then the bar got slammed. We were told someone stepped in to help the bartender and that was a mistake because the second round was not on par with the first. Gluten-free pasta was a nice surprise. The noodles were good, surprisingly, but the flavored were bland. Its too bad that places often forget about proper flavoring for special gf options/substitutions. We mixed two dishes to add more complexity to our meals. Not our favorite place but we would still enjoy the occasional trip here.

Great food, great service. I love the food at Bravo. Prices are reasonable and atmosphere is comfortable. Ive never had a problem with them. Todays review, however, was prompted by the above-and-beyond service I received from Lydia (a manager) while enjoying a nice business dinner with my wife and our accountants. She went well out of her way to make our evening a great one. With service like hers, I feel very comfortable in suggesting this location to anyone looking for an enjoyable evening out.

MY DAUGHTER AND I HAD DINNER AT BRAVO ON SATURDAY NIGHT. I ORDERED A BOWL OF LOBSTER BISQUE AND IT WAS DELICIOUS. ON TUESDAY, I HAD MY LEFTOVER SOUP FOR LUNCH AND TO MY SURPRISE, THERE WAS BABY SHRIMP INSTEAD OF LOBSTER IN THE BOWL. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED IN BRAVO, I WOULD NEVER BELIEVE THEY WOULD PULL A STUNT LIKE THIS. I GUESS IN THE DIM EVENING LIGHT I DIDNT NOTICE THE TINY SHRIMP. BRAVO GETS A BOO. EVERYTHING ELSE WAS GREAT.

I am a frequent diner here. I love the room, which has 20 foot ceilings, so it is never too loud, even when full. The lasagna is great, but I either split it or take half home. The sausage tortellini is another great pasta. The bread and dipping oil is tasty. They dont charge corkage if you bring a bottle of wine. Service ranges from good to great. The salads are fresh varied. My wife loves their eggplant parmesan.

After a rather dismal first time and putting up this review of that bad experience, the manager actually called and talked to me about it. She gave sincere apologies and was upset about how poorly we had been treated. With that courtesy, we decided to try a second time. This time things went much better and both the food and service was excellent. Four stars though because consistency is key.

This review is based on one visit to this location on 7/26/2017 at 11:30 AM. The facility is nice with an upscale environment. Our server was very friendly. The food is ok. Its typical chain restaurant quality and flavor. Its designed to appeal to the masses. I didnt care for the house salad. It felt more like coleslaw rather than a salad. It was a little too chopped up for my taste.

Go on a nice day and sit outside. It was wonderful! My son, super picky eater, left absolutely stuffed! I cant recall exactly what we ate but I do remember it was very good. So good that we have returned at least once more. I would recommend making a reservation or go early. It tends to be a little packed at peak eating hours.

Their lobster ravioli with shrimp was absolutely delicious!! I did, however, find a fly in it after eating half of my dish. They were so apologetic and, of course, took that off my bill. They also gave me a free dessert and offered me another dish. The service, atmosphere and food was awesome. I will go back there again!

The food is great, although, Im sitting here right now with my girlfriend this is our second time we are here and the employees get into arguments and fight. Very unprofessional. It really feels like we are at car dealership. This will be the last time although we love the food.
