I have been a regular customer (2-3 days a week) since I moved into Burnsville a year ago. I absolutely love this place and the people, and must note that I never was a loyal customer of any coffee shop & cafe before The Buzz. I have tried a wide array of their menu options - and have even brought in people multiple times because I wanted them to meet the owner (and get drinks of course)! The Buzz tries to incorporate eco-friendly practices such as water conservation and encouraging people to bring in their plastic bottles to recycle (among others). They display art from local artists and support charitable organizations. That aside, I’ve been VERY pleased with their service, selection, and the taste of the items on their menu. Some of my favorites – the “Anytime Egg Sandwich” with bacon, cheddar, spinach and tomato, a “Strawberry Fields” waffle with Nutella, and a caramel praline “coffee smoothie”. I recommend them to others ALL the time.

I moved to Burnsville 6 months ago and one of my missions was to find a great coffee shop because I knew Id miss my grad school hangout. This place is awesome! Probably the friendliest staff Ive ever had the pleasure of knowing, anywhere. Pretty spacious with local art on the walls, with some outdoor seating. Great coffee and AWESOME food. Do yourself a favor and go in on Waffle Wednesday for a half-priced waffle (last time I checked they had 37 to choose from), or try their made-to-order egg sandwich--for $4.50 you really cant go wrong. If youre staying with your coffee, the mugs come with free refills. This is the cafe gem of Burnsville!

So great to find an old school type coffee house in the burbs where theres a starbucks and caribou on every corner. Discovered this gem today after striking out at two other places beforehand with my three sons. We had eggs and muffins and smoothies and coffee, all of which were great. Im excited to go back and try their savory waffles. Super friendly staff, clean place and very comfortable. Not to mention we got out of there for less than $20 which is always nice :) will definitely be back!

Im new to the Burnsville area and was hoping to find another local small coffee shop to fall in love with and I did! Great coffee and such welcoming , friendly employees. I couldnt have asked for a better start to my day. I was greeted with a huge smile, and great service and the coffee and food was amazing. So happy I found my new favorite coffee shop

Was a little concerned new ownership would kill the atmosphere but they are doing a great job preserving the spirit of the place and yet updating it. Waffle selection is still AMAZING, space is still cozy, new coffee offerings are delicious, game selection seems to be dwindling a bit but next time I might bring some donations :)

Super friendly and personable staff! They seem to really care about their craft and feature artwork from local artists with disabilities. My honey latte had just the right amount of sweetness without leaving my teeth feel coated in sugar. Definitely have to stop back with a friend and try their waffles too. Thanks!

The waffles were pretty good. The eggs were kind of tough, I wouldnt be surprised if they were cooked in the microwave. Not bad, but could have made better at home. I wouldnt consider this a breakfast destination, but if you want a laid back coffee shop that happens to also have food, then youll probably be satisfied.

Great local coffee shop! I have been looking for a small coffee place in Apple Valley/Burnsville, cant believe I had not found The Buzz sooner! I got the Hazelnut Cinnamon Latte and it was perfect. Not overly sugary, perfect! Definitely recommend that you check this place out if you prefer the small coffee shops!

I love this place. Ive had oatmeal from here before but this time it was, wowed! Persentation is perfect. Oatmeal w/ brown sugar, almonds, & berries! Ask for MJ she know how to make fantastic oatmeal. Every bit has some almonds & berries ❤️ Thank You MJ for taking the extra time put this together for me!

1/2 off waffles on wednesdays! I just so happened to be passing through the area and I found this cafe on google places. I love their wacky waffle Wednesdays! A plethera of choices of delicious waffles, great service and free Internet. ( the cinnamon waffle was my fav) I highly suggest stopping by!

Came here to get some work done on my laptop. Not really the most comfortable atmosphere for that (servers are great, just not the comfiest seating). Came here with a group for breakfast and reserved the large table, it was a good experience for a large group and decent waffles.

The staff is very friendly! "The Speakeasy" is no longer on their menu, but is still made upon special request! It is more of a dark chocolate/hazel nut feel, not too sweet, and in my opinion best drank hot!

I was blown away with how friendly the staff are. I was offered a sample for the Nitro Brew, and it is one of the best things I have experienced. The coffee smoothies are amazing as well.
