The time was 8 pm, my family and I figured we had enough time to call in a pick up order before they closed at 9. We told the young lady over the phone that wed be there at 8:45 and did not find the request laborious at all. I arrived at 8:49, fashionably late, and one of the three sandwiches was "forgotten." I was perturbed that my sisters turkey reuben wasnt ready to be devoured but patience is a beautiful gem to carry in your pocket. 10 minutes later the sandwich was in the bag. I get home and unravel the 60 dollars worth of food. The turkey pastrami wrap was delectable, the Reuben irresistible...(drum roll) the turkey reuben was horrid and out of a goosebumps novel. One bite and one smell of that so called fresh sandwich and your mouth was hitting the garbage can. I called in to give some constructive criticism because I rarely leave reviews of places, good or bad. The manager was kind at first but would not apologize for the bilious turkey reuben. She stuck to her guns and continued to delude me into thinking that the smoked turkey was prepared fresh on this specific day. She did however offer a credit for the price of the sandwich but I did not accept. This was enough of a deprecatory experience that I shall never go back. So long stage deli, fait accompli was not kind to us.

My husband and I LOVE the Stage Deli. From New York. Cant find a good Kosher Deli anywhere in MI except the Stage Deli in West Bloomfield. We go to the Deli every time we go watch the Tigers play baseball. The pastrami is so delicious, and the rye bread has a crunchy crust and bread is warm. I wish their was a Stage Deli closer to Grand Rapids, MI.

Its very good, probably one of the best places to get a good corned beef sandwich. Its very pricy, but its worth it if you want good food without "aged" atmosphere and really good waitstaff. Its one of the few delis left that actually uses its heating a cooling system to keep the place comfortable and the country chicken soup is fantastic.

The food is very good and the atmosphere uniquely fun. I like the people watching and dont mind that Im usually the youngest person here unless there are families here for dinner. Usually older couples or groups of fashionable ladies (or men). Its a convenient location and the staff is very professional.

The food is quite good, classic deli, mostly large portions, tasty. The service is a bit yuppy for a deli, but friendly. The prices are bizarre... some good values, some exorbitant; for example, never order an additional slice of cheese for a sandwich. Consistently good food and service.

Fired by owners daughter for eating a piece of bread. It was good bread how could I resist snatching a piece. But that was cool I went to a way better restaurant in Rochester Hills MI making more money and all the people there were cool and we all partied together.

Great little deli with classic deli food, exactly as it should be. Comfortable seating inside, and a nice outdoor seating section - with umbrellas - thats open during the warm months. Plenty of options for my pescitarian wife too.

Never again I place my order then I saw an employee do something unsantize I mentioned to another employee and they made excuses for him by saying he doesnt cook the food so they justified what he did SMDH I cancel my order.

The best corn beef ever. Top quality wait staff and the Goldbergs are some of the best hosts in West Bloomfield. Occasionally caters to a retirement home environment and a little pricy but you know where you money is going.

The Stage Deli is my favorite of the local Jewish delis. The food is always terrific. The corned beef is the best in town. The Reuben is great - but try the corned beef hash for breakfast, lunch or dinner!
