The pies, cakes, cookies and whatnot are all made to perfection, but if theres one thing I cant stand, its the one whom the shop is named after--Garrett Dimario. I mean, the kids a retarded, smart aleck (paradoxically speaking), snot-nosed, annoying, impolite pain in the after end. For the sake of all that is decent, change the stupid name for crying out loud! All these customers who have spent their money here have no idea about who this son of a gun is! But if, and hopefully when they do, both business and profits are going to freefall by the wayside. When that happens, its GOODBYE GARRETTS CAKE SHOP! MUA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!!!!!!

I very much see no reason why everyone is bouncing everywhere about because of ONE bakery, I mean there thousands like it in town. Plus, the things arent really all that astounding (I heard from a friend of mine the Carrot Cake had a nauseating snotlike texture, YU-UCK! )Plus why is this called Garretts CAKE Shop, sheesh theres also cakes, cannolis, pies and whatnot, so whats the blasted problem of naming it Garretts Bakery. Anyway, the main consensus here is that, storebought baked goods are much better than what this place dishes out.

My husband and i got our wedding cake here and got compliments from everyone. They have the most delicious cake i have ever tasted. We go back at least twice a year for our anniversary cake and birthday cakes. they also carry other baked goods, but their specialty are the cakes. The black forest chocolate, and white with raspberry filling are the best! stop in and try a sample you WONT be disappointed.

Love this bakery. They make the best cakes and the owners hospitality is so generous and friendly. The first time I took my chance on getting a big birthday cake for my mother-in-laws surprise party 3 years ago. I was so afraid of trying someone new, but Im glad I did. Since, thats where I get all my cakes from. They also make awesome brownies, cookies, and pastries. . Thank you

Called and specifically requested a dark chocolate cake with dark chocolate ganache. Asked for something not overly sweet. They gave me super sweet milk chocolate with dark brown color. Refused to return the cake and behaved rudely. Never visiting again! Stay away!
